I have been a patient for years. Dr. Maughan is a delight. She is so personable and professional. She is always running on time and answers all my questions. Recommend her highly. Great office people and colleagues. Thank you a million times.

I truly don't understand how Dr. Maughn has a 4.5 star rating. I went in with my six-year-old son, who is the patient and also in the spectrum, she was not patient with him, because he was dancing and singing to his music, She told me to take my son to a park to burn his energy levels down in December when it’s 30° outside. I’m not sure if she new that he is autistic but it was not nice of her to tell me to take my son out to do something before taking him in the clinic so is easier for her n her staff . My son was not hurting nobody or running around .

First time seeing a professional about a skin condition I have (Hidradenitis suppurativa) even through I’ve been suffering with it for years alone. Told her my two problem areas and mentioned that I’m at the point of wanting a reduction surgery to reduce painful flair ups under my breast. Dr. Maughan was quick to dismiss my concerns and possible solutions. She was in and out of seeing me within 5 minutes and left me feeling unheard. She told me to change my diet and lose weight even though my weight has never been a trigger or a problem with this condition. I had even told her I changed my diets various times to discover triggers. The condition was even worse when I was 50 lbs lighter. She lastly told me that moving forward I’d just be checking in once a year. She prescribed me a Clindamycin Phosphate liquid to put on daily and when I picked up my prescription I found out she also prescribed me blood pressure medication even though that’s not even related to my condition. Who prescribes blood pressure medication without ever checking my blood or blood pressure?! Insane! It wasn’t even discussed at the appointment. I was so distraught after leaving her office that I instantly booked an appointment elsewhere for my inflammatory condition.

The office help is TERRIBLE!!! Absolutely awful customer service!!! I've been seeing this Dr Maughan since her dad retired and she's nice but it's not worth the hassle with her front desk. I have the card with our apts written on it and we get there to find out we don't have apts. But we're welcome to reschedule a month out after I already wasted an hour of my life today. No thank you. Go somewhere else! It's not worth it!!

I recently had the opportunity to visit Dr. Julie Maughan's office. It was refreshing to go into an office where the personnel were so helpful. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming as were the staff. Dr. Maughan was very professional and explained everything she needed to do and what was causing the problem I was having. I truly appreciated the thoroughness in which she first explained and then took care of the problem. I would recommend Dr. Maughan and her staff to anyone that might have or think they might have any kind of skin problem. My thanks to the whole office for a very refreshing experience.
