We recently brought our daughter to Dr. Coyne. Our daughter is quite young and there was risk of scarring. Dr. Coyne immediately put us at ease. She talked to us first and foremost as a medical professional, but also as a parent. This was greatly appreciated in a high stress situation.

Dr. Coyne has a very reassuring bedside manner and is extremely knowledgeable about both skin cancer, less scary skin conditions and cosmetic concerns. Her office is very sleek and the staff are friendly and professional. She does an exceptionally thorough job with skin exams which, with my family history, is very appreciated.

This post has been a long time coming, and I wanted to make sure that I found a different provider before posting. I saw Dr. Coyne last year and the entire process was SO uncomfortable. Never in my life had I ever felt so judged and unheard by a physician. I literally cried in my car after. She hardly spent time with me and I could barely get a word in! I was there for acne and she did not let me speak long enough to tell her the current products I was trying. What's more is that I felt like she was pushing her products on me. You would think she would want new patients to be comfortable!

I came to Dr. Coyne with a very rare and painful skin condition that I developed after my third pregnancy. I initially consulted her for a second opinion but she quickly became my primary dermatologist. When we spoke, she demonstrated such an empathetic bedside manner which I desperately needed at the time. She let me speak at length and listened carefully. She asked a lot of follow up questions so she could narrow down the diagnosis and then was able to diagnose me quickly and confidently. When developing a treatment plan, Dr. Coyne explained to me in simple language the science behind what she was suggesting so that I understood both what was going on with my body and how we were going to try to fix it. While my skin condition was an incredibly painful experience, Dr. Coyne's empathy, intelligence, and experience made her a bright spot during a difficult time. She couples her extensive knowledge of the field with a deep respect for her patients' unique experiences. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Coyne. I came in because I had a poison ivy rash on my arm that was taking a long time to heal. She prescribed me a topical steroid and warned me that it was possible I would eventually experience itching and discomfort in other parts of my body — not just the area where the rash was. A few days later, that’s exactly what happened, and I was able to call her and have her prescribe an oral steroid. I really appreciated how knowledgeable she was about the way poison ivy can progress, and also how responsive she was to my follow-up call. In addition, her staff was very helpful in explaining the billing process. I highly recommend Dr. Coyne and her practice!
