I had a wound that needed to be taken care of with skin grafts and my doctor referred me to Dr Mehan. I was under their care for about 8 months. Dr Mehan did a phenomenal job. The care I received during this time was exceptional. The whole staff from front to back office were helpful, friendly, and always had smiles. Megan, PA was fantastic. She always made you feel like you were the only patient and she was very knowledgeable. I really can't say enough good things about this office. I will miss them and come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Dr Mehan, Megan, and the whole staff!
Dr. Mehan is absolutely impressive. He has the best bedside manner of any doctor we have worked with in my husband's laundry list of providers. He made us feel relaxed and confident with my husband's surgery. We loved how much of a straight shooter he is and he never seemed worried about the procedures. Today my husband was discharged from his services as his wound has fully healed. I cried tears of joy as the whole experience has been a wild ride for over a year but knowing we had Dr. Mehan in our corner brought much ease. Thank you Dr. Mehan and team for the amazing work that you do. You change lives for the better and don't give up. Thank you from the bottom of my husband and my heart. We will always remember you with love in our hearts.
First, the good: the staff and physicians are respectful/(seemingly) professional. The not so good: I visited with the doctor several times for a surgical consult for a procedure which never occurred. I was told I would hear from the surgical scheduler, and I never heard back. After calling the practice three times without resolution, I decided to go a different direction. Finally, a year later they sent me a bill for $250. Pretty bad experience.
This is the worst medical office I have the displeasure to get service from. I had a broken finger, 1 surgeon and 1 nurse inserted a nail in my finger, charged $30,000 for less than one hour, and left my finger permanently crooked.
Can't comment about their plastic surgery services since I didn't get any. But their billing practices seem very dishonest to me. I went there after injuring my face (upper lip area). It was already stitched up by the emergency room doctors who were awesome. But they still advised me to visit a plastic surgeon for opinion. So I visited Dominion. Waited 20 minutes. Then the doctor and PA came. The doctor examined the injury with his hands and eyes (no x-rays or MRIs or anything) and told me all looks good and I shouldn't be needing anything from him. That's it. Took a total of less than 10 minutes. And they billed my insurance for more than $2k. And are still fighting with the insurance company to get paid more. I personally had to pay a few hundred dollars from my pocket as well. Overall, I think these kinds of charges are exorbitant for a simple 10-minute session that involved no procedures, medication, or prescription.
