Shenandoah Oral and Facial Surgery

Dr. Quitmeyer and his staff accommodated our special needs, and were patient and kind with my young child. We are so thankful for their help and highly recommend them!! Thanks so much for making a difficult situation as easy as possible!

Dr. Quitmeyer was so great! His assistant was great! He told me what he was doing the entire time he was working on me and made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this place if you need anything done!!

Think about the most anxious, overthinking person you know then quadruple it-that’s me. I haven’t had teeth pulled since I was a child. I put off having my wisdom teeth extracted for 10years, but I decided to celebrate a cancer scare with more scary things I put off for too long. Consult was great, Dr. Quitmeyer is short sweet and to the point with great bed side manner! Day of surgery I was very nervous but Dominique and Beth were very calming and patient with me. Dr. Quitmeyer came in, let me pray then put me right to sleep, evidently redheads are hard to keep to sleep but they didn’t make me feel bad about it I didn’t even know until my husband told me they warned him I had a lot. I will say one of the techs that took me to have an Xray after the surgery was very impatient with me and made me feel really small she even made a comment about me being married like it was surprising, after the X-ray she stood behind the dr while he reviewed it and made a 😬 face behind him that no one saw and then wouldnt even let me go to the bathroom I said I really have to pee she said “ugh, can you wait until you get home” so I did…but I ended up coming back day 5 I because I was so worried about the pain I was having and couldn’t stop thinking about the face she made(like something was being ignored or missed) came back and Dr. Quitmeyer was SOOO patient, gave me reassurance and sent me on my way. Overall great experience. One persons bad attitude shouldn’t affect the over all rating but i was very awake coming out of surgery and she treated me like that, I can’t imagine what she acts like to patients that are a little more out of it.

I had a lot of anxiety about a tooth extraction. Dr. Quitmeyer and his staff were kind and professional. The extraction took very little time. Once the numbness wore off, I experienced very little pain. I would label it mild discomfort. I am very impressed with Dr. Quitmeyer’s skill.

Wonderful people here! They took very good care of me. Friendly and professional and quick to help with a slight complication afterwards that was of no fault to them. I would go there again and I would recommend them. 5 star rating Dr Quitmeyer expalined every step of my procedure as he was doing it. Staff answered any and all questions I had.
