Richmond Dermatology

I have gotten very poor customer care from Dr. Peck’s team. They are rude and argumentative. They put me on hold for 10 minutes to make an appointment for a refill they had denied a week ago but neglected to reach out to me. Ryan said they “don’t have time to call all their patients.” All patients don’t get denied a refill everyday. What a ridiculous and rude statement. Now I can’t get an appointment for another 6 weeks! A full 7 weeks after they denied a refill! Very poor patient communication and Dr. Peck was alerted to this problem over a year ago.

I just left my regular check up appointment. As I was lying on the table naked under the plastic gown I asked a question about tretinoin. Dr Kings medical assistant Becca did not know I was looking at them when I asked the question. She made an unpleasant face to Dr King and did a very obvious eye roll. I said “why did you make that face when I asked that?” She said “oh no I was looking at the computer”. I asked her to leave the room. Dr King denied seeing it but when someone makes a face like that it’s for the other person to see. I really liked going to Dr King as my provider and made my follow up appointment but unsure if I’ll be back. I am a RN and would never make a face like that to a patient or family member especially in an environment where the patient is lying on the bed naked already uncomfortable as is. Very disappointed and feel very disrespected for asking an appropriate question.

I was a patient of Eileen Kitces for over twenty years, and she was an exemplary physician. After Eileen retired, I tried her daughter, but unfortunately, the apple fell far from the tree. I felt it prudent to move on to a different practice.

Dr. Elizabeth Henderson is a wonderful dermatologist. She has the best bedside manner, she is gentle and very kind. Her entire team has the best customer service from the moment I walked in the door until I walked out. I thought I would never find someone after my lifelong dermatologist retired, but Dr. Henderson is amazing. Thank you Richmond Dermatology for finding the perfect Doctor for my Psoriasis. I'm finally completely clear!
