Onyoo in Loft 7 is super talented and such a friendly person. She takes great care to find out what I like most in a haircut and then delivers with perfection. Her shampoo technique is the best I’ve ever experienced anywhere!!!. Highly recommended👍👍👍

I see Nini for nail art (Loft no. 12). I really love all her work which you can see on her portfolio on Instagram @steezynailz. Like for example there's an artist I like, Yoshitomo Nara, and I shared a concept board to possibly do nail art design based on his work and she did a great job! She also did this ombre pink design and used a magnet to create a velvet look on the tips. If you go to her Instagram page, you can book that way. Pricing and length of appointment is based on the level of the nail art like something simple like a coupleof lines and a few dots is probably a Level 1 and then if it's more complex it's a higher level, price, and longer appointment. Also need to take into account previous nail polish removal (separate cost, let her know if you have acrylic because that takes longer to remove and you might need extra time added to the appointment). Also she doesn't do acrylic but she does do Gel-X. I'm not sure with her, but I know some independent nail artists and hair colorists get popular and they end up closing their books to new clients and will only take new clients if they are a referral from existing clients. Also some nail artists and hair colorists are starting to charge either a deposit and you prepay or they request to keep card on file and will charge full price of service if you cancel last minute. Which is understandable since independent nail artists and hair colorists don't get walk-ins like a regular salon and it's hard to book someone else last minute. Their salary and budget for the month is based on those bookings ..so I get it. My point is if you are a habitual appointment canceler, don't bother booking with an independent nail artist and search for the elusive nail tech who can do nail art at a regular nail salon (I reviewed a few). Lastly most nail techs can't do complicated nail art and that's why I go to Nini for this type of service. So don't walk into a regular nail salon with that expectation...you'll leave disappointed and probably mad when you should have done resesrch and asked alot of questions beforehand. The last tip I have is to be careful about parking in the garage by the Harris Teeter which is close to the salon. It's free for the first two hours. You need to make sure to press the button on the meter so it resets. The property owner is notorious for towing from what I hear. I was 15 minutes past my time and my car was towed and I had to pay $180 to get it back. So maybe park somewhere else if you want to be safe.

I love Onyoo and everything she does to my hair!. I’ve just gotten a fresh haircut and color. They were both just what I wanted. I’m so glad I found her. I’ll go see her FOREVER!!!

Onyoo(Loft 7, onyoostyle)is the best hairstylist in DMV! It was so hard to find the right hairstylist but finally I found her. Her haircut and balayage are both exceptional!!! She is very thorough, talks through her plan and what she’s doing during the process. Onyoo has great taste and is knowledgeable of trends. Onyoostyle is the best!!!

I booked with Khuyen Nguyen in loft 18 for a facial. I love that she took care of my skincare and also a shoulder and head massage too with hot stone. It was so relaxing. Khuyen is very sweet. I hope to come again.
