Dr. Choe is hands down, Hampton Roads' best kept secret! He isn't just a great surgeon, he's a skilled artist….who only paints faces. From my initial consultation, through the decision-making process, and up until the day of my surgery, Dr. Choe was hands-on and he and his staff were actively involved in preparing me for the big day. Unfortunately, the week before my surgery, I was diagnosed with the seasonal flu and throughout my entire illness, Dr. Choe was personally checking in on me and assessing my condition. Ultimately, we made the decision to postpone my procedure and he reassured me that he would find another date as soon as possible because he knew I was looking forward to it and had been preparing according to his instructions. As promised, he found another date a few weeks later and my surgery proceeded as planned. The morning of my surgery, he reassured me that we had taken all of the necessary precautions; as well as other preventative measures such as taking anti-bruising supplements a week prior to my procedure, and as a result I experienced very minimal bruising. In addition to the lead up and actual day of surgery, Dr. Choe personally attended to me throughout the entire recovery process. To my surprise, he personally greeted me at each of my surgical follow-up visits, checked my daily progress and healing, changed my wraps and bandages, and personally removed my sutures and surgical tape. Dr. Choe was personally present for every single surgical milestone I experienced, and as a result, he made me feel like I was the only patient he had. I don’t know if I’ve ever had a doctor make me feel like I was as important and safe as Dr. Choe made me feel throughout my cosmetic surgery experience. It’s obvious he has spent the past twenty years or more perfecting the art of facial cosmetic surgery and mastering troublesome side effects like bruising and swelling. As a result, patients like myself experience little to no bruising and the positive results are beginning to show in only a few short weeks. As of today, I am one month and four days post-surgery and already getting compliments and experiencing the positive results I was looking for when I set out on this journey.
