DON’T ENROLL HERE!! Dr. Prurcell and her team have a terrible practice. You never actually see Dr. Purcell, ever. All appointment were via phone and now are text message only. You can’t reach her or her staff except by text, and they are slow to respond or don’t respond at all. Scheduled appoints with her are constantly late or don’t happen at all and no one communicates to the patient about the delay. You are supposed to be provided supplements but they are always out or delayed. You often have to pay for weight loss medication out of pocket in addition to your contract fees. You pay thousand of dollars for a keep diet and to buy your own supplements off of Amazon. When you do communicate your concerns you are either ignored or they don’t acknowledge any issues with their “practice”. This place is a complete sham, save your money and go see your real doctor.

Dr. Puscell is amazing doctor, she explains thing and how our body works... it the first time i have felt like there is hope to be healthy. ALL the staff are the greatest, always helpful, always smiling... Everyone there is wanting the best healthy results for you. It's not that I've lost all my weight yet, and yes I've had little set backs, but I'm sticking with it and feel so much better...

I have been seeing Dr. Purcell for a little over a year now. I was referred to her by a great friend and it has been the best experience ever. I first started seeing Dr. Purcell as my primary, but she has become so much more than that. I now rely on her to help manage my diabetes and weight-loss. My previous Dr told me I was borderline and medication was optional to find out that I truly was Type II Diabetic. I have been over weight my entire life and have seen many Doctors and tried several methods. Those methods didn't work for me. Dr. Purcell encouraged me to a see her nutritional therapist and start a program with the both of them. I was scared to fail yet again but was ready for the change. In April 2016 I started my new journey. A LIFESTYLE change. With support from the clinic I decided to join a gym and start with the eating plan set in place for me. I have now lost over 65 pounds with 45 of that being fat. Dr. Purcell has been so supportive and understanding through out this process. It is not always easy, at times I fall off track and she is there to pick me back up. The staff is wonderful. I never have to wait longer than 5 mins to be seen, if I need blood drawn they are on it. When I have needed outside referrals it is taken care of promptly. I can't even get out of the office and I have an email showing my visit summary. I started a support group on Facebook for healthier living and have done a few give-a-ways and Dr. Purcell has graciously donated items for me to gift. Honestly, you have to care about your patients success and acknowledge their hard work do something like that. If you are looking to lose weight, manage diabetes and have support every step of the way this is the place to be. I am no longer in diabetic range and can safely say I am in control now. Thank you Capital Diabetes and Weight-loss for all the you do to help so many people live longer happier healthier lives. You all rock!!!! Dr. Purcell started out as my primary care physician before she specialized into weight loss and diabetes management. I have been over weight my whole life and deal with metabolic syndrome and Hashimotos thyroiditis which make loosing weight difficult. Since Dr Purcell specialized, she has helped me begin to loose weight (45 lbs so far) and normalize my metabolism. I have a long way to go, but with her cutting edge knowledge of nutrition, exercise and medication management I know I will reach my goals! I am thankful everyday for her help in my journey to optimal health!

Dr. Purcell and her team have helped me through my many weight challenges. They have placed me on a balance of vitamins and medications that is specially designed for my body/blood/chemistry type. They have reversed the signs of aging with their own organic line of products and have recently added a wonderful esthetician to their team. I would highly recommend them!!!!
