I really hate to do this because the doctor/ PA we had was great. We have no complaints about the medical treatment we received, but the office staff is utterly incompetent, unhelpful and horrible at their job. After 3 attempts to fix this, the final one being with the office manager Michelle (who can't even return the call to the correct phone number), I give up. I hope to save any other innocent people from the problem we are facing. My husband and I had an appointment on the same day. We paid our bills for the service rendered immediately upon receipt. He keeps getting bills for the office visit. We have a receipt from the Doctor's office showing this is paid in full. We have a receipt from our credit card company showing this is paid in full. When you ask the office to help you fix it, they send you to another number. When you ask them to help you, they send you to the Doctor's office. No one will fix it, and they blatantly LIE about it being fixed, assuring you each time that "the old system has been updated," but you keep getting bills. The only way to avoid the charge being sent to collections is to pay it twice, which is theft! Again - the doctor/PA is wonderful, but the office staff is incompetent and dishonest. I cannot recommend the doctor because the office staff cannot do their job. Please avoid them at all costs for your sake.
Had a great office visit, but unfortunately they can't get their records straight. I paid my bill immediately upon receipt. I have proof of this not only from my credit card statement, but from this office. In writing. I've received 2 additional bills and every time I speak to someone they say they're going to "fix the other system," but they never do. Absolutely ridiculous that they are trying to double charge me for my visit. I'd avoid them.
They billed me for a $100 no-show fee. They told they don't take anyone without insurance. I don't have insurance. Then billed me a $100 no show fee. They are so disorganized they must not know what they're doing. Previous review: They don't take anyone without insurance. Wouldn't even let me keep my appointment and hung up on me without saying goodbye. All I said was I'm self pay.
I love my dermatology team. I had set up an appointment last year because I found a concerning skin spot. They took my worries seriously, a biopsy was soon done, and the results were shared with me the day they received them. It was skin cancer, but it was caught early---as was the precancerous spot found at my follow up appointment. I know I am in good hands there.
Edit: After my initial review below I called the office to ensure they deleted all of my data. I didn't wan to run the risk of being sent any of their marketing. The woman on the phone asked to understand why and then went to great lengths to talk me into giving them a second chance to make things right. I wasn't totally sold, but I've been dealing with skin issues for a year. I caved and gave her a shot. I know a few people must have worked overtime to fit me in the same day, but they did manage to fit me back in (though later in the afternoon). They took great pains to apologize to me and try to make things right. I'm so grateful to Megan, the PA who saw me, for answering about 9000 questions and explain to me exactly whey she chose everything she did to work with skin to try and get it healthy again. Its not often businesses own their mistakes and try to correct them, but when they do I think that makes them all the more impressive. I've already scheduled my follow-up. _____________________________ I made an appointment a month ago, first time patient for 10 15 am today. To my surprise I get there today and while they have me in their system, half of my information is wrong, they can't track down who entered me into the system, and surprise surprise no appointment. I understand mistakes happen, but the secretary was determined to do anything BUT apologize. She even went so far as to say "maybe I was entered years ago" as a way to explain how I was in the system with no appointment. I've never been to a dermatologist before in my life, and I'll certainly never go to this one again.
