The worst plastic surgeon ever!!!!!!!! I don’t suggest any woman of color go to her for any type of surgery. She is dismissive she very aggressive and the way she gaslights you to make it seem as if you are the problem smh. My breast reduction is botched I have fluid build up and she could care less about it. Her np was under the influence at one of my appointments like heavy under the influence of something. The entire staff is rude except the lovely ladies at the front desk 🥰 you can feel the positive energy that comes from I just wish the doctors were more like them🤌🏽. I will be reporting Elizabeth for botching my breast and not being concerned about areas I & my primary doctor have concerns about and I will be seeking out a 2nd opinion. I pray her daughters don’t have to experience unkind & rudeness when they want something fixed about themselves and whoever shall oversee them have compassion and care about their job to listen to their concerns. Elizabeth discriminated against me from 1st app but wanting something done so bad I should have researched her thoroughly as other patients she had in the past said the same thing I’m saying about her. Minority/Black women plz I beg you do not go to this doctor for any domestic surgery. I will be posting on my TikTok I have a big following and I will post doctor and pics of my botched breast😭😢😢😢
Staff and Dr. O'Connor were very friendly, they were not rushed ,listening to my concerns and answered all the questions. And did a great job.
I highly recommend Dr. O'Connor. I had a third go round of breast implants over a thirty year period. My last mammogram deflated one of my implants. Unfortunately, it took me six months to find her and get scheduled. She is an excellent surgeon, very knowledgeable and compassionate. The "girls"looked like a young woman"s with no bruising at all! I didn't even need pain medication. Unfortunately, I am having some issues with the deflated breast which is not from the surgery. It is scar tissue and the pocket settling. Dr. O'Connor is following up to be sure I'M OK. I am totally confident in her!
After inspecting my facial laceration Mrs. O'Connor did not take any time to explain the condition of my injury or treatment or ask if I had any questions. When I pressed her for answers she was noticeably defensive. After removing my stitches she was only willing to spend 1 minute with me to answer my questions before she left the room. I asked the nurse, who had been in the room, why steristrips were not put on the wound. I was concerned since the stitches had only been in for 4 1/2 days. She said that steristrips were not necessary since the wound was "fused". After I returned home, and later in the evening, a portion of the wound reopened. When I reached O'Connor on the phone at 10:00 pm she defended her removal of the stitches: "you would have had rail-road track scars forever" and not using steristrips: "you have hair on your face so they won't stay". She also stated that she "had never seen a wound reopen" in all of her experience. She was again defensive, accused me of being argumentative/questioning her judgment and was not very helpful - only suggesting that I put some antibiotic on the reopened wound and telling me "it would be fine". She had very little interest in my condition or situation. Later that evening I did work out a plan with another Dr. on your staff (Gibbins/Gibbard) - who was very helpful and supportive - to get the wound restitched in the local ER. I spent another 4 hours in the ER and got home at 3 am. I really don't like doctors like O'Connor who hold their own time in such high regard but think nothing, apparently, of the inconvenience of a patient - especially when their negligence causes additional harm. I am not concerned if Dr. O'Connor knows who I am and I am glad to speak with her in person or with anyone else who would like to seek improvement from this experience. I do expect care that is professional and competent and to be treated respectfully even if I'm not having expensive elective plastic surgery. I try to be a good patient - reasonable, polite, respectful etc. while firmly advocating for my care. I think less than a full 5 days is too early to remove stitches and that a few steristrips would be good insurance (shave off the hair first).
I have had the pleasure of having Dr. O'Connor perform surgery on me twice. She is very professional, friendly, and extremely well educated. I am at ease when I know she is performing a procedure for me. Highly recommend.
