I began my journey of hormone optimization last summer after horribly traumatic experiences with mainstream physcians. I was told that my low testosterone (non-existent really) was normal for women my age and that they would not treat me with testosterone instead sending me a pamphlet to a sex shop. I was also told I would need to be on hydrocortisone for adrenal insufficiency and those were my only treatment options. Live with it? I think not! Being the woman that I am with strong determination to find answers to my health issues using naturally occuring hormone therapy, I researched until I found Dr. Lewis. Fast forward a year: I am now fully optimized taking testosterone, estrogen (in pellet form), progesterone, and thyroid medication. My husband quickly experienced the difference in my mood, libido, and energy and joined me on the hormone optimization journey. He too is now fully optimized. Together we are thriving and living life to the fullest. Our marriage has been strengthened in ways we could never have imagined! Before my husband was optimized, he would come home from work grumpy and sit on the couch watching TV most evenings. Now, he is so full of energy and has amazing stamina! We hike togeher, lift weights, and our love life is out of this world. Every single person in Dr. Lewis' and his entire staff are friendly, approachable, and genuinely care for all of us! Everyone that works in Dr. Lewis' office is so knowledgable and go above and beyond to make it feel like family. We talk all the time about how much gratitude we feel for Dr. Lewis and his staff. Our lives have forever been changed for the better by what Dr. Lewis and his team have done for us. We have new leases on our lives and are so blessed. We can't say enough about Mequon Wellness Center--a true jewel!
