Dr. OBrien is incredible. He took great care of me for my breast reduction. Explained procedure in depth. Spent a lot of time explaining risks, and recovery. I did have drains and he pulled them the next morning due to my large breast size. He has great bedside manner and truly enjoys what he does. His office staff is fantastic. Had my surgery at outpatient care center. Would def recommend.

When I set this appointment I asked up front if they accepted insurance and was told that they did Even though several other doctors offices that I had called said they did not. So I set up an appointment and when I did I went to my appointment today drove 2 hours to get there and once I got there I was told that they do not accept Insurance even though they did ask for my insurance card when I got there. Had me fill out paperwork and then at the end of the paperwork they told me that I had to pay them $75 for a consultation fee which was not mentioned when I made the appointment. I drove 2 hours to get there and was told that I would not be seen without paying the $75 consult fee and while I was trying to talk to my husband to see if we could pay that fee today they told me that I should probably just go home and refused to talk to me any further and said that we are not a good fit. I asked all of this information over the phone and I was told nothing about a consult fee I was told they did take insurance and I just wasted 4 hours of my life, gas, and my time for something they could have told me over the phone but did not and then they copped an attitude with me when I got there for asking simple questions about what they did and did not accept

Dr. O'Brien is not only an amazing surgeon, but a great person. He really got to know me to ensure I would get the best results possible. His team is also outstanding! I would highly recommend him to everyone, I am more than impressed!

Be sure to check your insurance benefits yourself. Dr. O'Brien is now using an outpatient clinic instead of Brookwood Hospital for outpatient surgeries. Although I asked about the outpatient center coverage versus hospital due to my insurance, I was assured everything was fine. It was not, my deductible applied when the outpatient center was used, and not the hospital. So, his office cost me almost $900 more than I would have had to pay if they would have checked when I asked.
