Adar Dermatology - Jasper

Update: After leaving this review, I was contacted by the office manager who offered an apology and wanted to try and make the situation right. I already had an appointment with a different office so this wasn’t an option. I did however appreciate the apology. I later received a package in the mail with a few sample items and an apology letter signed by the doctor. They definitely went above and beyond apologizing for the below situation. Although I’ve already changed to a different provider, I appreciate how they have handled things. ***** I would leave less stars but due to not being actually seen, I will leave 3 to be fair. I called on 01/22/25 to make a new patient appointment. This went smoothly and the lady told me they were booking into February which was not an issue. I made an appointment for 2/03/25. On 01/23/25 I received a text message stating I missed an appointment. I called on 01/24/25 and was told this was a computer generated text message and was a mistake. She confirmed that my appointment was still scheduled for 02/03. Today, I went to my scheduled appointment. The reception did not greet me or give me instruction on what I needed to do but I saw the sign in and signed my name in. I asked her if she needed anything else from me since I am a first time patient and she told me she would call me up. That was fine, I took a seat. I waited approximately 15 minutes and she called me up to tell me that I had missed my appointment on 01/23. I explained the situation and she said they were fully booked and it might be a while before they could squeeze me in. I told her that I would prefer to reschedule. I did reschedule in office. After leaving, I decided I would prefer to go to a more organized business so I attempted to call 14 times to cancel my appointment before I could get through. Maybe this was a unique situation and this isn’t how they typically run their business but I will be going elsewhere.

The staff at ADAR Dermatology are so friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome and answer any questions that you may have. I would recommend them to anyone. The only complaint I have is the waiting times in the waiting room are long even though you have an appointment. They have been so nice to me and my daughter.

I had a skin cancer removed from my face, and Dr. Adar did a fabulous job of doing it in a way that a skin graft was not required! My family's really impressed, and a couple of them asked who did my surgery, and they're planning to contact Dr. Adar's office for appointments. The office staff is super friendly and helpful, also. Everyone there is just super nice!

From the moment that I walked into the office it was liking being with family. They made sure you were comfortable and explained every thing that was happening. Could not have had a more pleasurable experience. Artur and the ladies were very gracious hosts The office itself was very light and friendly

For those with kids, We have been taking our 9 year old granddaughter for treatment of a wart on the bottom of her foot. From the time you walk in front door, the ladies at the front are so nice, friendly and welcoming. Everyone we have met in the back has also been that way. They not only talk to the parents and explain, they include the children , explain procedures and treatment, get the kids to explain how the issues are affecting them and talk to them on a level they understand. It’s so great to have such a wonderful place here locally in Jasper for adults and children. If you or your child needs a dermatologist, I highly recommend you contact them and see for yourself.
