I love coming here, Kim with Solstice in their aesthetics area is amazing, she's kind, listens and works with you to achieve YOUR BEST results and is helps she's hilarious. I have only had one encounter with Dr Escobar and she was incredibly kind and I could tell her patient comfort comes first. Great team all around!

I arrived 15 minutes early for an appointment that was for follow up to imaging and labs, I was left in the waiting room for 45 minutes past my appointment time which was an hour. Gina Escobar was more concerned with another patient who had gone and come back. No acknowledgement or apologies for the delay was given. Releases were signed by me 3 weeks prior to the follow up appointment. The releases were never sent by Solstice, during the appointment Escobar said they were never sent by the office they were requested from. After I mentioned that I would give them a call, Escobar left the waiting room. When I exited the waiting room I mentioned to her CMA the clinic the health information was to have been received from, stated they never received a release from Solstice. The appointment was a complete waste of my time, time off from work, time from my personal leave. After that appointment I was directed to go to QUEST labs to complete lab work, I was instructed to go immediacy by the CMA along with directions to complete an online profile to make the appointment. I was told the lab order was there waiting. Three days later I set an appointment during my lunch hour. I arrived at QUEST for a 10 minute appointment which turned in to 35 minutes. No orders were received by Solstice, again. I called over to Solstice to let them know there were no lab orders, I was told that I should of called them first to see if the orders were there. I regrettably had three appointments with Solstice. I had a serious health issue that showed up from another exam, at another facility, that needed immediate attention. I had hoped to establish Solstice as a provider for continuity of care to immediately address this concern. I feel this office is very unorganized, one person doesn't seem to know what the other person is doing, the follow up of things to be done is very poor, there was no concern whatsoever for my time, my health or my out of pocket costs. What I was told would be done and what actually happened were just to far apart to consider Solstice for permanent care. I have since selected another health professional. They have already received everything in one day, which Solstice could not get done in three weeks. I have an upcoming appointment, they slotted me for a hour and half, assuring me they would get everything done that needed to be done to address my immediate health concern that needs attention. They also assured me the would review all the imaging and labs so the doctor would be able to answer all of my questions. Working in Health Care, I had to ask myself "Would this experienced be ok for one of my patients" the answer was no. I would not give Solstice any consideration nor would I recommend them to anyone.
Throughout a lot of medical challenges Dr. Escobar has continued to provide amazing support for me as a patient. I feel as though she actively listens to what I feel I have going on and provides options for steps that we can take to address any concerns. She will even go out of her way to pursue more information if it is a topic she isn't 100% certain on. She is informative about why she thinks the way that she does and takes the time to ensure I understand what is going on as well. I truly appreciate her approach as a physician.
Front office staff is great to work with but the DOCTOR is less to be desired. Granted it was all via phone. We never met with the doctor once until the day of the procedure . On the day of the procedure , she was running behind a couple of HOURS . Never came out to follow-up after a procedure for my spouse , AFTER the staff stated she would. No called or text. She seems to be running behind not five or ten minutes behind schedule but anywhere from TWO to FIVE HOURS. She tried to say it would be a month and half for results to return ( which seemed odd) . After normal a two weeks , I made a call in myself and was told the results were indeed in (for my spouses results) but the nurse or doctor would have to call back to discuss the them . VERIFIED PHONE NUMBERS TO CALL. The office actually called a different family member and almost gave them the results of my spouse's pathology report. Simply by not verifying basic info, just going off last name information. No apologies. No correction. Our family member called and told us they stopped them . Which we found extremely unprofessional and a violation of HIPPA. Yet, they didn't seem too concerned. We had to stay on top of the office for referrals and follow-up based off the Doctors recommendations. Also, you need to do all the leg work with the insurance company. The doctor runs things more as an assembly line aspect. More money driven than patient care as a priority in the forefront. Best advice for you , go else where if you want quality care for yourself or a loved one.
