English Dermatology Ahwatukee

When I called to make the appointment I explained to the woman at the desk, what my situation was she went to somebody to ask if they did what I asked for, she came back and said yes. When I came in I was pleasantly surprised to see I did not have to wait very long, just a couple minutes. When I went back into the room and assistant asked me questions and took a picture of the cyst on my neck. she went to the physicians assistant, and she seemed very timid unwilling to really talk to me. She took a measurement of the cyst and said she could not do anything and she would recommend I go to a surgeon. I was there for 5 minutes and they kicked me out but they still charged me my copay. I asked for my return money and they would not give it to me. They knew what I was coming in for but yet they still decided to put me with a physician's assistant and not a doctor. I was not happy with my appointment. I called another dermatologist and went and saw them.

New patient and very thorough during the exam. Explained the different types and various conditions of psoriasis after the diagnosis. Pleasantly surprised how fast I was in and out of the office. Prescriptions were held up at the Pharmacy. Called English Dermatology Ahwatukee to see if they could assist. They jumped right in to help facilitate the process. Would highly recommend Kellie English to anyone hesitant about their skin condition or anxiety about going to the dermatologist. On the road to clearer skin. Thanks, English Dermatology Ahwatukee.

Dr. English is knowledgeable and a gentelman, nurses are good as well, but the front office young ladies you interact with for checking in and out are very rude. I have been there 3 times different years and same thing. Maybe lack of training or facing consequences. The first visit they also failed to check and let me know about practice not being in-network with my insurance. But in general it's night and day between the Dr, nurses and equipment vs. The ride front office people. It would be very easy to fix though.

Loved the doctor and check in team, but the woman that checked us out was not nice, okay both my husband and thought she was RUDE to us! I am so tired of people being rude to their customers and yes at that moment in time we were her customers! I understand we all have bad days, but it is her job is to have good customers service skills I would assume that is why she was hired and not take her issues out on customers, or maybe that is her personality, either way it was wrong! I am not sure if I want to go back for my follow appointment, I found her attitude unacceptable!

Had my 3 month checkup with Kelly P.A. this last Wednesday. She is very thorough and walked me thru what she was looking for. I only waited a few minutes before I was seen. When I scheduled an appointment they are able to get you in within a week. All aspects of my visit were very favorable.
