Had a great first time visit at SEV in Burlingame today. My nurse was Nancy and she did a great job walking me through everything and answering any questions I had. It was a very smooth and easy process overall. Looking forward to my return visit in a few weeks!

Terrible experience. I booked an appt for dysport with Iris months in advance. Drive all the way to Burlingame from the city and they are out of dysport and Iris is no longer there. So I didn’t get any treatment and upended my whole day. It would hope in the future they can call there clients to let them know if the product and esthetician is unavailable to give them the option to cancel.

Gorgeous ambiance and decor, beautifully scented candles, chandeliers… laser hair removal is a science and there are many lasers on the market. I loved doing Sev Laser on my underarms because they have a cooling technology. Good experience today

NOT PERMANENT hair removal SEV Laser's services are no longer advertised as permanent hair removal, but rather "TEMPORARY hair reduction" (up to 80%). That was not the case in 2022 when I started my LHR journey with them. So you're never going to be 100% hair free with their lasers. Call them or ask your nurse about it. You'll be as surprised as I was when I recently found this out. You'll need about 20-30 sessions to get to that 80% hair reduction point and then you'll have to do another 2-4 sessions every single year for maintenance. According to their lead nurse, if you stop- the hair will grow back! ______________________________________________________________ 13 laser sessions without results - don't repeat my mistakes! I started my laser sessions at SEV Burlingame in 2022 (yes, that long ago!). In 13 sessions I only got a little bit of hair thinning, nothing more. When I was complaining about my poor results, the nurses kept increasing my settings and recommending more sessions. A lot of sessions were done at the highest level, yet results didn't improve. After the 13th session I decided to go to a different place in hopes that maybe I'll get better results there. I was right. I saw significant improvements days later. Days! Not years! I had 3 sessions done at the new place so far and I think I’ll only need 2 more to get perfect results. Apparently, I don't need 20-30 sessions, only 5-6 but done correctly by people that are genuinely trying to provide a good service. From my experience I've learned that you should see changes after your first session and if you don't have significant improvements after 3, then you won't see them after 10 more sessions either. When something is working- you'll see results, when something is not working- you'll hear a lot of excuses. And I've heard them all at SEV Burlingame. Also, don't get fooled by the good reviews. The majority of them are written by people that completed only 1-2 sessions and are happy that the nurses are nice and the procedure wasn't painful. You won't see many reviews from people that finally got the promised results and how many sessions, thousands of dollars and years of their life took to get there. I hope this review gives you a new perspective and will help you make better decisions in your laser hair removal journey. Good luck!

I do not recommend going to this location for anything other than laser hair removal. I had Morpheus done last June and it completely ruined my skin. I thought that the nurse was adapt and trained properly to do this procedure on skin of color. Now, after eight months of going back back-and-forth with the sev team, They have not been able to provide me with any sort of solution to the ice pick scarring that they have caused all over my once perfect skin. Despite following all protocol, it’s obvious that the scarring on my face is due to inappropriate settings and too much heat. I’ve had to go to dermatologist and plastic surgeons to get this sorted out, and all of them could not believe with my initial complaint that Morpheus was even recommend to me. If you are a person of color, do not come here for any type of micro needling treatment. It’s important to find a skilled practitioner and it’s clear that doesn’t exist here.
