Dr. Gary W. Oliver, MD

Dr. Gary Oliver is an outstanding dermatologist. After diagnosing a small spot of skin cancer on my forehead, he recommended Mohs surgery, which resulted in excellent outcomes. He is very knowledgeable, takes the time to answer all questions, and provides comprehensive explanations of treatment options. My overall experience was positive—minimal wait times, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Oliver truly listens to his patients, making him highly recommended for anyone seeking dermatological care.

A year ago, I was experiencing the worst eczema flare up of my life which nearly claimed my life. After attempting to rely on my previous HMO, I had switched insurance providers to begin seeing Dr. Oliver and his practice. I was already battling an existing severe bout of staph infection which spread from head to toe. Dr. Oliver told me to hang in there, as I was dealing with the affect effects of my tapered Prednisone use from my previous dermatologist. Throughout December 2023, the amazing staff was able to get me all set up to begin treatment immediately on January first with a solid plan. Here I stand, 11 months later, 40 pounds lighter, following the doctor's advice and trust to the very word, very grateful for the amount of support he has provided me to find confidence to live a fulfilling life again. He reminded me of the belief that the body is extremely resilient and with enough persistence and mental fortitude, you are your own strongest advocate.

Dr. Oliver and his office staff are simply superb. Needed a second opinion on a rash as my Kaiser care team was non-communicative/unhelpful. Even though it was out of network, the cost to visit Dr. Oliver was reasonable and I was able to get an appointment quickly, so I went for it. Couldn't be more glad I did. Dr. Oliver asked thoughtful questions, gently scraped and examined a sample of my skin, and returned with an understandable diagnosis and treatment plan. It's really clear he knows his stuff, and he takes the time to make you feel like a valued patient. With his guidance I'm now almost fully healed, and just returned from a follow-up where I got some helpful treatments for recurring acne issues. Highly recommend seeing Dr. Oliver.
