Plastic Surgery & MediSpa of Dr. Stompro & Dr. Cheng

I debated writing this review, but I hope it will be helpful for anyone considering Dr. Stompro for breast augmentation or any other surgery. Its been over a year since my breast augmentation and I think I could have achieved better results from a different surgeon. I'm in the process of looking for a new surgeon to revise his surgery and hopefully get to the results I initially asked for. It is not horrible work, but it could have been better and the healing process was a nightmare. Let me jump to the beginning of how I picked him. When I met with him it was a great consult and he was thoughtful and heard me out on my wants and needs and concerns. The prep process prior to surgery was thorough and well done. Surgery also went really well and no complications. He even called that first night to make sure I was doing well and I appreciated that very much. However, that first week post-surgery I was having pain and needed an adjustment in pain medicine, but his main assistant treated me like I was a drug seeking addict and scoffed at me over the phone and even laughed at me for requesting a different form of pain medicine. She was very rude every time I called and I had to request to speak to a different office assistant so that I could demand Dr. Stompro call me instead of pushing my concerns getting pushed off. I finally heard back from him and received muscle relaxers which made the recovery process more tolerable. The other issue I had was each post op visit I was seen by his nurses and never Dr. Stompro. I would try to rearrange my schedule to meet with him only to be told that he needed to reschedule me again because he couldn't meet in person. Its been over a year and I still haven't seen him for any of my follow-ups. I've also had excruciating scarring that he and his office nurses just advised to massage it. This did nothing and I still have nodules and deep pigmented scarring with no help from his office on how to reduce the pain sensation that comes and goes or help the appearance of the scars. So ultimately, he seems like a wonderful man in-person and an attentive surgeon in the beginning, but beware his first assistant who is extremely unprofessional, condescending, and judgmental and be ready to never see Dr. Stompro post surgery and only his nurses. All concerns will be brushed aside and you might not be the most pleased with your results. Highly recommend another office if seeking cosmetic surgical interventions.

I urge those with limited experience in surgery to consider the alarming experiences of others. My customer service experience here has been the worst I've ever encountered. Despite multiple attempts to express my dissatisfaction with my procedure to Dr. Cheng and the manager, my concerns were dismissed. Being told it was "in my head" was not only offensive but also highlighted the ignorance of the staff. This facility should not be allowed to operate with such a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and communication. There is a serious lack of integrity in this business.

Dr. Cheng is truly an artist in his work. My Mother who had revision surgery here, was very happy with Dr. Cheng’s work. My mother had gone to a previous surgeon in Sacramento that left her left breast implant higher than the right one. Leaving the breast looking unsymmetrical and uneven. Many plastic surgeons including the one that did her breast implants, claimed that the reason for the implants being unsymmetrical was due to my mom’s anatomy. After a consolation with Dr. Cheng, we left completely happy knowing a surgeon was so confident in his work which was Dr. Cheng himself. He was very straight forward on what he can do. From the start of consultation, we knew we can trust him. From the initial consult were greeted by Danielle. She was very kind, and very helpful! She was one of our point of contact for almost everything that included appoint info, billing and more. To the surgical department that’s really kind, but I especially like to recognize Yessenia RN (Registered Nurse). Yessenia went above and beyond to deliver the best patient care we’ve seen this far! She’s very helpful and very empathetic. She communicated with me while the surgery was going on, which was very important to me. Her work ethic is above immaculate. Jasmine (Surgical Coordinator) was also very helpful. She has a lot of patience when giving pre-op and post-op instructions, Aswell as explain medications. Sia PA (Physician Assistant) is very knowledgeable in her role. She gives a sense in confidence while giving info. She answers every question in a very discernment manner. We would also like to recognize Morghan (Clinical Director) for being a very compassionate person, she’s great at giving medical advice and patient education. This practice delivers the best patient care and best results! If you are looking for an Excellent surgeon with great staff, seek no further than “Art Of Beauty” they truly live up to the name art and beauty with the type of work they do. Dr. Stompro is highly reccomended. He saved my finger 30 years ago when it was almost severed. He was on call at John Muir emergency.
