It was my first time at the salon. When I called I spoke to Rachel. She was very, very nice and very informative. She asked if I could come in for a consultation. I wish I could’ve met her, maybe next time. I sat down with Lilly, we went over what I was looking for. She also gave her input. I absolutely love what she did. And I’ve already made my next appointment. Anyone looking for a salon in Elk Grove this is the one.

I waited a long time to write this review because I didn’t want any negative experiences as a result. But I previously went here for the Japanese straightening service. This was the most expensive hair service I have ever had done. Two women worked on my hair and they were super nice. However, they both differed in their techniques on how they were to process my hair. One of them was newer, and the other woman had to keep reminding her how to do it “like in the video.” I was kind of worried about how this would turn out but I’m so shy that I didn’t say anything and just wanted to trust the process. I can say that I followed the aftercare instructions to a T… didn’t wet my hair at all or even pin it up. I slept with my hair straight on the bed, so much that even my neck was hurting every morning. But, this service was a waste of money. My hair was still frizzy and the curl pattern was appearing in random places even a month after the treatment. You can see in the pics of me leaving the salon that day of the service, versus about a month later without styling (but still brushed to help straighten the hair 😓). My hair has never been straight not even for a day after the process so I definitely think the women didn’t apply the chemicals right or even follow the process as it should have been done. But it did damage my hair. I’m still trying to add protein and hydration to my hair to help it recover. The women, the staff and the salon itself are great. I’m sure the rest of their services are great. But I haven’t been back since my costly $300+ experience. So I just cannot recommend for the Japanese hair straightening service.

I came in looking for something fresh after not touching my hair for a year. It was exactly what I needed - I feel like a brand new person. Lily did an amazing job. I showed her some photos and tbh, I didn’t know exactly what I wanted, but she knew. I love my butterfly cut, and the peekaboo dye. I highly recommend coming here. You won’t leave disappointed.

I brought my son here for a tattoo removal. We have only done 2 sessions and the results are amazing. Erin is absolutely amazing! She is very thorough and knowledgeable and explains everything as she performs. I’m almost positive after one more session the tattoo will be removed. I highly recommend! I can’t wait to share our next session. (The first two pictures are the before laser and the last two are after only 2 sessions)

Have been going to this location for a few years and I always get the best results and they definitely take their time to get to know what look you’re going for. Malia is the best and gave great service and advice about how to treat my hair! Thanks again!
