Ladies! Friday 11/22/24 Dr. Varkony did my hidden arm lift surgery in Encino. NO PAIN. I can already tell I'm going to love my results even though I'm still a bit swollen. He is super friendly, knowledgeable, answers any questions you may have and has a wonderful team in his office. Let this be a sign to get it if you've been wanting too. Love, Nelly.

Dr. Varkony is the best. He makes sure to explain everything to me before and after my surgery. He calls me next day to follow up with and make sure everything is fine. He replies promptly to messages and questions.

Upon deciding to have facial cosmetic surgery, I diligently researched reputable cosmetic surgeons online, and Dr. Steven Varkony was included on practically all of the sites that came up. I had a mini face lift and upper & lower eyelid lifts approximately 17 years ago, and it was time for a "tune up"! I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Varkony; he was very informative and forthcoming with details, yet also listened to what I had to say in terms of the results I was hoping for. Dr. Varkony agreed that repeating those 2 procedures I had previously, would be most beneficial, and also suggested tightening of my neck, which he simulated at that time, to show me how it would look, and I thoroughly agreed. He assured me he would take optimal care, and that I would be extremely happy with the results. Surgery took place March 27th, wherein all 3 procedures were done at one time. Dr. Varkony and his surgical team were professional, encouraging, competent, and made me feel very well taken care of. I was sent home that evening and Dr. Varkony called me that night to see how I was doing, and to advise me regarding steps to take to alleviate the ensuing nausea from the anesthesia, and some residual pain directly after surgery. My first follow-up appt was the following day and I have had several more follow up appointments since then and have several more scheduled in the near future. I feel very confident that I had the best care facilitated by Dr. Varkony and his surgical team; he is very thorough in regard to post-surgery precautionary procedures, as well as explaining everything I was to expect afterwards in terms of the healing process, and also patiently answered my (many) questions. I'm approximately one week out of surgery at this point in time and I'm already seeing very encouraging results. Dr. Varkony is easily accessible via phone, and is prompt in replying to text messages and emails. I was very apprehensive about going through this elective surgical ordeal again, however now I feel completely confident in my choice of surgeons. As soon as my healing progresses a bit more, I will post a before-and-after photo. Stay tuned! Today marks almost 1 year since Dr. Varkony performed a lower face lift, upper eye lift and neck tightening surgery on me. I am completely healed; I could not be more thrilled with the results. Everyone that hasn't seen me in a while tells me how great I look and they can't believe it when I tell them how old I am (67) . Dr. Varkony did an excellent job and his follow up care is exemplary.

Though it was nearly 16 yrs ago that I hired this (then Beverly Hills) cosmetic surgeon to do my implants, I never forgot his highly unethical and shameless excuses when things went wrong. Months after the surgery, I questioned him about why my implants were pushing out so drastically to the sides. I could tell my implants were placed incorrectly under the muscle. But rather than admit he made a mistake, he blamed me, his patient, by saying "It's because you have a SUNKEN chest cavity!" Wth?! What kind of pathetic excuse was that?! This doctor was an absolute coward, just like so many other doctors I've encountered throughout my life. Varkony not only lacks the required skills, as a cosmetic surgeon, but he also lacks any and all integrity. Avoid.
