I visited this clinic with a specific issue: I had a plantar corn on my heel that made walking painful. I had previously seen orthopedist in another place who merely scraped my heel with a blade, which did nothing to address the root problem. The doctor here offered me three options for removing the corn: deep, medium, or shallow removal. After administering a local anesthetic, the procedure was performed. It was a bit painful for me, but that's because I'm quite sensitive to pain. Additionally, my corn was sent for a biopsy to ensure it wasn't a wart. I'm very pleased that the problem that had been bothering me for about six months has finally been resolved. I have PPO insurance, and the copay for the visit was $20. I am currently waiting for information on the cost of the procedure.

I had a large cyst on my lip that had gradually been getting larger through time. I met with a couple of doctors and they said they were concerned of the location of the cyst and that removal would be difficult. After doing more research I saw that Dr. Shafa specializes in these procedures. After an initial consultation, I scheduled the in-office procedure with her. She completed the procedure in only 30 minutes, with no pain or discomfort, and was able to fully remove the cyst. The whole office experience was top-notch and I would highly recommend Dr. Shafa for anyone looking for any dermatology related procedures.

I came here to remove a keloid that appeared on my ear lobe. I couldn’t wear earrings for a while until I came here. They did an amazing job. After 3 injections, the keloid gradually disappeared and now it is gone. I’ve done beauty mark removal here before as well and the marks are all gone. They did minor surgery to make sure the beauty mark doesn’t reoccur and grows back.
