My teenage daughter developed breast early, and by the time she started in high school, they were very large, pendulous and asymmetrical. One was a DD and the other was a D. They did not fit her petite frame. She was always in physical discomfort and subject to unwanted attention due to her breasts. We met with a few plastic surgeons to discuss a breast reduction and lift. We ultimately decided to go with Dr Chen for a couple of reasons. I was particularly impressed with her pediatric specialization and experience working with children/teens. Most plastic surgeons don’t have this type of specialization and some wouldn’t even consider performing the procedure on a minor. My daughter and I both really appreciated her patient, respectful manner. She validated my daughter’s concerns and reasons for wanting the procedure in a way that made her feel understood. She answered all of our questions and helped us both feel comfortable and safe. The procedure went very smoothly and the communication throughout was excellent. But I think I was most impressed with their post-recovery follow up. She doesn’t do the procedure and then leave you on your own. We continued weekly check ups for nearly 2 months afterwards, which was so reassuring as her body healed. I didn’t expect that level of post op care and attention. They were with us for every step of the healing process, answering all of our questions, reassuring us on the progress. All bodies heal differently so it can be hard to know what’s normal, etc. so having that weekly check up was hugely reassuring. They genuinely cared about her and it showed. The end result was extremely natural and subtle. My daughter is thrilled to have breasts that are lifted and more proportionate to her frame. It was such a happy day when we were able to go shopping for a new bra and she could finally fit into a B/C cup. I was extremely hesitant about having this procedure performed, but I have zero regrets. Dr Chen and her team were amazing and I cannot recommend them enough.

My Fiance had an Abdominoplasty and liposuction with Dr. Joyce Chen about 4 weeks ago. The results are amazing! First off, her stomach looks perfectly fit and natural. Aside from the scar, which is still healing you would never know that she had this procedure done. The surgery itself went perfectly and recovery was not as hard as we anticipated. Dr. Chen is an artist and sculpted my fiances stomach impeccably, she is polite humble and very informative. We would totally recommend Dr. Chen to anyone who is looking to do an Abdominoplasty .

Dr. Chen performed three procedures on me and I was incredibly happy with the results. She provided succinct directions for my aftercare and her follow-up was much appreciated. Most notable was the lack of pain I had during recovery. I had long, arduous, painful recoveries from previous similar procedures with a different doctor, but Dr. Chen is magical. I had three days of discomfort, but nothing like my prior surgeries! I resumed slightly modified activities very quickly and all activities at 3 months. I highly recommend Dr. Chen!

I had my previous implants for 40 years, and they ruptured. Dr. Chen was able to replace them. The surgery went very well, and she did a great job! The first day of surgery there was some initial pain, but the next day I did not need to take any pain killers following the surgery. Thank you Dr. Chen!
