Jason Roostaeian, MD

My biggest regret was going to Dr Roostaeian. I needed minimal changes and he took the liberty of deprojecting my nose which then turned into a pollybeak. He never took follow up photos, probably because he recognized how bad it looked. He didn’t offer to revise and or refund. $25k to look worse. He over promises and under delivers. There are far better surgeons out there. I’d stay away.

I had a very disappointing experience with Jason. After my procedure, I was left with a crooked nose and a plugged eye duct, which required a separate surgery to fix. He was extremely negligent and dismissive and no plan to fix what he did to my face. When I raised my concerns, Jason refused to take any accountability, blaming me for improper recovery and even suggesting that my nose bones grew and shrank unevenly, which was absurd. He admitted that I need a revision surgery but wanted to charge me on top of the $25k I paid. I felt gaslighted throughout the process. If you’re considering a procedure, I highly recommend opting for a private surgeon instead of UCLA for a more flexible and responsible experience.

I am not a big contributor of online reviews but it wouldn’t feel right to not leave a review for Dr. Roostaeian. I had a primary rhinoplasty 4 years ago (by a different surgeon) and just felt like something wasn’t right and I was never happy with my results and had issues with constant running. A friend told me about Dr. Roostaeian and I decided to see if he could fix what I thought was wrong, with 3.5 months before my wedding. Aside from saying yes to my Fiancé, this was the best decision I have ever made. Not only was he able to find and correct a fracture in my septum but he fixed the issue that I had with it and I can tell only 6 days out from surgery! I had my splints and cast removed today and while it is still swollen, the difference brought tears to my eyes and I cannot thank him enough. ALSO, I had zero bruising and minimal facial swelling (aside from my nose). His talent is unmatched and I would recommend him to anyone! Fingers crossed I don’t need other surgeries in life but in the case that I do, I would choose him every time! Also, UCLA is easy to work with and a close in and out from the airport, if you are like me and coming from out of the area. Pictures were taken during the first 6 days.

I got a revision rhinoplasty by Dr. Roostaeian three years ago, I will forever be grateful for what he did for me. I had a bad experience with the last surgeon I went to before Dr.Roostaeian I had a deviated septum that was caused by the previous surgeon and a very bad rhinoplasty and revision. After months of research I found Dr. Roostaeian scheduled my consultation he was very knowledgeable and caring through out the whole consultation he answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. I’m very happy with my outcome and highly recommend him.

Both my daughter and my son had septorhinoplasty and he did an amazing job with both of them. Their recoveries were minimal and both look terrific. He is also just a great person. They both felt very calm about the process when speaking to him.
