Dr. Burnstine is one of the most compassionate, caring, kind, and thorough surgeons I know, and I’m an ER nurse, so I’ve met plenty! From the first consult to the day of surgery and follow-up visits, Dr. Burnstine’s highest priorities were giving me the most aesthetically pleasing results, making sure that I understood the process, and alleviating any fears I had. He always responded to my questions promptly, which was much appreciated. My only regret is not doing it sooner! I had bilateral ptosis repair with upper and lower blepharoplasty in December 2017. Dr. Burnstine came highly recommended by my trusted family Ophthalmologist, Dr. Bhandarkar, to remove a lump on the inner edge of my left eye. And, during my first visit, Dr. Burnstine noticed that there was another issue with both my eye lids that really needed attention. After testing my vision to verify this condition, Dr. Burnstine got my insurance to confirm coverage for the surgery needed. This was great news and an in-office surgical appointment was made. Everything went very well and I'm very pleased with the results. Besides being an excellent physician, Dr. Burnstine has a wonderful personality, is terrific at explaining the diagnosis and the procedures, and is especially good at soothing any patient's fears or concerns.
