Negative Zero stars. Still suffering from 2019 botched filler & botox procedure which caused a medical condition I never had before I stepped into this office; after which I had to have many consults with specialists $ finally found out that I need corrective surgery because of her rushed negligent procedure. When I returned to show this to her I was laughed at and a condescending attitude by Arisa. Forget complaining and asking for your $$ back. It won’t happen. It was supposed to be only a consult for botox on forehead and she insisted I do other procedures which cost me over $4,000! The results were awful. $$$ Out the window! Don’t go here!

Dr. Ortiz and her team are certified scam artists. Imagine speaking to multiple staff members and physicians being told you were getting a free consultation only to receive a surprise bill. Contacted their billing team who tried to contact the department and it took over 1.5 months to receive a response. And although the referring physician, every scheduler, the nurse and Dr Ortiz validated that themselves it was not upheld. Would not recommend this physician, this department or any UCSD healthcare facility. Also the consultation consisted of 5 minutes of answering questions that the schedule or a member of their team could've answered... The physician had no clue I was cash pay originally, which her nurse corrected, and the nurse even told me my credit would not be expired only for me to deal with this headache of calling their billing team and office multiple times. Hopefully there is a positive resolution for this atrocity of a healthCARE experience. Update: in response to this automated reply asking me to contact their patient experience line... I contacted them OVER A WEEK AGO. No follow up... To no one's surprise.

I was very disappointed in my last service with Dr Arisa Ortiz. I did a laser treatment on my dark spot on my face and the results ended up as if I did not get anything done maybe the improvement was less than 5%. When I went back to consult with her she did agree that the Laser did not do much and she had told me that I need to do more treatments she was very rude and pretty much did not make me feel comfortable going forward with any more treatments. She pretty much turned me away. I never felt that she was very welcoming in our services and was very condescending. I will probably never go back to her and if anything till all my clients not to go to her. I was very unhappy with my procedures done by her.

Dr. Ortiz was and is above and beyond! She clearly helped me understand everything about the procedures I need to have done. She answered all of my questions and helped me to feel safe and peaceful. She is clearly an expert in her field. Knowing that I have Dr. Ortiz on my side has calmed my anxiety and depression due to a botched lip tattoo ( permanent makeup) I can not say enough positive things about Dr.Ortiz. She truly is on purpose, i give her my highest recommendation. I will be her patient for life♥️🙏 -Barbra Chakos

Dr Ortiz is a national and international expert in cosmetic dermatology. She is a thought leader who also has the gift of a keen artistic eye and her cosmetic outcomes far exceed those of her peers. I am so happy with my results and I would recommend her to all family and friends with utmost praise and confidence!!! If I could give 6 stars I would!
