Dina Massry has been my dermatologist for over 25 years and has been excellent. She gives more periodic exams and has taken off dozens of keratoses and skin cancers. Warm, competent and efficient would be my description.

Del Mar MED has been amazingly thorough and professional in every aspect of my dermatology care. I've been a licensed health care provider for many years who owns and operates a large clinic in North County...I couldn't be happier with my care.

I had seen several dermatologists in the past 5 years and I always felt rushed during the visit but not with Dr Massry. Her professionalism and expertise make her a stand-out in their field. I’m very unhappy with my experience. After calling ahead to verify that the provider was in network, I proceeded with my appointment. Unfortunately, it turns out this provider was in fact not in network. Most reputable medical practices are able to verify this in office. I was assured by an employee over the phone that the office was in network with Aetna and the staff recorded my insurance card in person, accepting my copay at the time of service. It is the medical provider’s responsibility to verify benefits upon check in, I have seen it done before. If my dentist, chiropractor and PCP can then so can a dermatology practice. I am now stuck with a large bill. I came here to obtain a diagnosis for a skin condition that is impacting my quality of life. While I am grateful for the diagnosis I still wish I had not come in. There seems to be very little accountability on the provider’s part which leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I wouldn’t recommend this provider as it is clear the priority for them is profits over patients. A payment plan and $50 off is not enough to relieve the stress and the financial burden.
