My nasal journey started 2 years ago, as I embarked on my journey of researching and trying to find the best provider for my septo/rhinoplasty. I was afraid of having to go with a clinic that would end up being impersonal and business-only oriented. I wanted a surgeon that was the best at their craft, while also being personal, kind, and patient focused. I couldn't be happier, because 2 years later I got all that & more with Dr. Pacella - he truly is the best doctor and surgeon I could have asked for to be responsible for fixing my nose and walking me through it all! From my first consultation with Dr. Pacella, I could immediately pick up on his passion for plastic surgery - it truly shows in how he treats his patients and their concerns. His questions were tailored to my care and preferences, his instructions were clear and detailed, and his plan of care was meticulous! He made me and my family feel safe and taken care of every step of the way, taking the time to answer all our questions and never making us feel rushed. The regular follow up's allowed me to feel supported while allowing me to continue to check in with Dr. Pacella on what I hoped to achieve through surgery. Obviously, now that I am on the other side of the process, I have to say - I couldn't be happier with my results! Not only did Dr. Pacella return my quality of life by being able to breathe better for the first time in my life, but he also worked beautifully on my nose allowing me to feel confident! I love it! I was picky when choosing a surgeon, and I can confidently say that there is no one I'd trust more with operating on such an important aspect of my facial feature like my nose than Dr. Pacella. And last but certainly not least - the entire team behind Dr. Pacella is so incredibly wonderful. Everyone from his nurses to the front desk receptionists to his surgery coordinators are so kind. It goes to show how amazing he is, when you see his staff just as happy to work there as well. At times I feel like words will never do justice just how thankful I am that I got the chance to meet Dr. Pacella. Deciding to get a septo/rhinoplasty was a decision that I did not take lightly, something I had wanted for many, many years but was afraid to pursue. At 62 and never having any surgery before, I was very anxious when I came to Dr. Pacella with my saggy tired-looking eyes that were way overdue for help. Dr. Pacella and his professional, caring team were nothing short of amazing from the start and I am so grateful to have had them by my side during this journey. Five months ago, I had both lower and upper lid blepharoplasties with repair of brow ptosis and upper eyelid tarsal levator advancement. That’s a mouthful and yes a lot of stuff . . . to which Dr. Pacella came at with great skill and confidence. He is truly a gifted surgeon who comes across as just a guy doing a job he loves. All went smoothly, with no complications, but this was not an easy experience for me. Even so, it was 1000% worth it. I am so happy with my results. Once again, I am happy to look in the mirror and this is the best my eyes have looked in almost 30 years. I have so much more confidence, not just in my appearance, but in my ability to face whatever happens in life. I am so thankful to Dr. Pacella and his staff and have so much trust in his abilities. Phenomenal Abdominal Surgery I thought my life was going to be forever negatively impacted when I suffered a perforation in my colon that led to months of pain and restricted mobility and lifestyle. Then I was referred to Dr. Pacella by Dr. Amy Day. Everything immediately changed from the first consult with Dr. Pacella to the flawless hernia repair and abdominal reconstruction surgery he performed on me. His interactions with me gave me confidence I was in the best hands in the business. And post-surgery, I know I was. As expected, my recovery was initially painful. Dr. Pacella and his staff were there every step of the way to answer my questions and give excellent advice to help me through the rough spots. Dr. Pacella has given me the chance to return to my previous life of mountain biking, kayaking and all the other activities I was enjoying. He is a gifted and experienced Surgeon who can perform surgery on many areas of the body. He listens carefully, evaluates your concerns and provides you all the options to closely obtain the best results possible. Have often admired other people’s plastic surgery results while never expecting to go under the knife myself. That changed when I had Mohs surgery on my nose, leaving a 3-hole punch size crater. My biggest concerns, as someone relatively young skin cancer, were looking and feeling like myself again. My Mohs surgeon, who learned his specialty from Dr. Mohs himself, recommended Dr. Pacella as THE expert in reconstruction. After doing my research I discovered that Dr. Pacella authored a textbook on aesthetic reconstruction. At our first appointment, Dr. Pacella throughly (and humbly) explained his reconstructive process in plain, practical language. Any skepticism or fear I had vanished right after surgery. I could already see that my nose would once again look like itself. I sometimes imagine that it looks better 😂Two months later, my friends and family can’t stop remarking how well my nose is healing. I had been reluctant to give up my daily activities for the healing process, just as he predicted, I was back in the ocean, sweating, and making silly faces in no time. A great plastic surgeon must be highly technically skilled while having good (and up-to-date) aesthetic judgement. As a woman, it’s also really important to feel seen and heard. If I ever need reconstruction or decide to have an aesthetic procedure, I will go to Dr. Pacella.
