I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Pourtaheri. The moment you walk in his office you feel welcome. He took the time to explain to me step-by-step the surgical procedure, and he answered all of my questions and concerns before and after the procedure. I felt really listened to and very well taken care of. The results of the surgery are just amazing! He is a gifted surgeon, an incredible medical professional and a very kind person. Dr. Pourtaheri is an extremely kind, patient, and talented surgeon. I was initially nervous to pursue plastic surgery - looking to improve my face and breasts. He did a wonderful job for both, with no recovery time - no bruising, no pain. I have been to both offices, the SF one has a gorgeous view and the Petaluma one is convenient and private. The staff is very responsive and answered all my questions. I HIGHLY recommend Bay Area Esthetics to anyone looking for excellent results and a stress-free experience.

I was referred to Bay Area Esthetics from my primary care physician, for a infection on my finger. The very minute i met Dr. Pourtaheri, i could tell he put the personal well being of his patients before anything else. He was knowledgeable, caring, and was generally concerned with my well being and comfort. He was able to on the same visit conduct a treatment that could start the healing process on my finger. I could tell he was a very different Dr. than i was used to. From my discussions with him, It was apparent he used his skills to heal and care for his patients, and that is his primary focus. His staff, (Dane to mention one) is a pleasure to interact with, and they take the time to reach out with any concerns or questions you may have. Fantastic group of people, and I highly recommend.

Dr. Pourtaheri’s approach with dermal fillers and Botox has me looking and feeling totally refreshed. I love the natural and subtle results. I’ve been consistent with injections for a while now but his skill is totally unmatched. I also love their patient concierge - I really feel catered to. All around 5 stars from me. I’ll be back soon for my next appointment!

Dr. Pourtaheri performed an excellent hand surgery on my severely injured hands on Nov. 27, 2023. In the surgery room, I half jokingly said to him, " Now my hands are in your hands...please take care of them..." Well, after 97 stitches and tendons/nerves repaired, and not being able to do anything at all with my hands, now my fingers are recovering very well under his care, I'm so glad finally I've got my hands back! Besides his excellence in his medical skills, he is also very caring and sympathetic. Thank you so much, Dr. Pourtaheri!
