From my initial consultation to my very last post-op visit a year later, Dr. Miranda and his team have been incredible! I chose Dr. Miranda due to his expertise in the hairline lowering procedure, and couldn’t be happier with my results. I was really nervous about having a procedure done; however, the staff here put me at ease, were quick and efficient, made me feel safe, and always greeted me with a smile. I am four days into recovery from an extensive facial surgery performed by Dr. Edward Miranda at the Pacific Plastic Surgery Center, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the care I’ve received. After surviving trauma and damage from a bashing, I needed a surgeon who truly understood the complex and meticulous needs of a survivor—Dr. Miranda exceeded every expectation. Dr. Miranda is not like the quick-fix surgeons you often see on social media. He is an internationally esteemed expert, a venerated educator, and a compassionate humanitarian in the field of plastic surgery. A month before surgery, his team set up a patient portal that gave me immediate access to the center, which provided me with peace of mind as I prepared for the procedure. The day of surgery, I was treated with kindness and compassion from the entire team. My husband received regular texts and phone calls throughout the surgery, updating him on my progress, which meant the world to both of us. I chose to stay overnight at the Hayes Valley Surgery Center, where my personal nurse was incredibly attentive, ensuring my comfort and taking my vitals. The nurse even took the time to call my husband during the night to let him know how I was doing. Two days after the surgery, Dr. Miranda met with me to remove the drains and personally asked how I was feeling, reassuring me that I had immediate access to him if I had any concerns. I am somewhere between extremely satisfied and thoroughly ecstatic over my experiences and results with the procedures I underwent with Dr. Edward Miranda. I desired a fat transfer breast augmentation because I wanted the results to look and feel natural, and I didn't want implants. Dr. Miranda understood my needs and performed that procedure on December 2, 2024. The results were glorious. I was so enthralled with the outcome that I asked Dr. Miranda to perform my facial surgery, for which I'd had a previous consultation with another provider, but had been awaiting a surgery date for the better part of a year. On February 14, 2025, Dr. Miranda performed my facial surgery, consisting of a brow lift, 4 lid blepharoplasty, fat grafting, face and neck lift. I chose not to have any bone work or rhinoplasty. He also removed a cyst from my upper lip that had bugged me for years. Again the results were terrific. I should mention that I'm a boomer, more than 67 years old (I like to say I'm 29 years plus 465 months) and I have underlying health conditions including atrial fibrillation, some other cardiac issues and a blood disorder, hereditary spherocytosis. Doctor Miranda could have turned me down, but instead worked with my primary care team and cardiologist to ensure my safety and recovery. Five days post facial surgery, I suffered a hematoma related to my use of a blood thinner product. I wisely sought and obtained emergency care at San Francisco General Hospital (five stars to the General also) and Dr. Miranda was consulted and informed throughout that episode as well. I'll post photos of my face on the day of surgery, and thirteen days post facial surgery (eight days post emergency hematoma surgery). I have the slightest residual bruising in the photo from yesterday, but it's all gone today. I feel great, and I look like me, but with a couple of decades of wear and tear erased, so I'm closer to that "29 and X months." Both photos are without makeup, except brow powder on the "after" pic. Sorry, I'm not posting photos of my breasts, but they're real, and they're spectacular. I have been a patient with Pacific Plastic Surgery group for almost 2 years and have had 3 different procedures. Two hair transplants and a breast augmentation. Each time Dr Miranda, and at the time, Dr Dudas, were very thorough and thoughtful when listening to my needs and wants while managing expectations. They always provide all the information you need for recovery and what you can expect post op. When i had a question about a dressing, they responded within 10 mins. Sometimes they can be busy and thats understandable but I always feel well cared for. The office staff as well have been absolute angels helping me navigate insurance, they really go the extra mile. For now, I think I am done with any plastic surgery needs but i highly recommend Dr Miranda.
