MedSpa San Jose: True You - Dr. Thang Tran

Had an amazing very first experience today, I had my lips and Botox done by nurse Kim. Everything from booking my appt to receiving my procedure went well. Super cute location & comfy. Loved the staff, very sweet girls making sure they explained the procedure and the numbing was awesome lol Nurse Kim made sure to ask what my my lip goals were and was very attentive on explaining everything for me. The Botox injections were a breeze, can't wait for my Botox to kick in and for my lips to heal for round 2 lol

After hitting my late 20s, I decided to finally get off birth control to see if my adult acne was under control. But unfortunately after getting off the pill, I quickly gained 20+lbs and constantly had food noise, especially late at night.. I decided after 2 years that I wanted to make a change and start my weight loss journey with the help of Dr Tran, Rosalie, and the lovely team at True You Medical Aesthetic. At first the thought of injecting myself weekly sounded super scary, but it's actually not! I noticed I can barely feel the needle at all by pinching areas of my fat before injecting. I feel more from the pain of pinching my fat and then following a super super small prick of the needle. I actually look forward to my weekly injections because of the how happy I am with my progress! (: You eventually get used to the feeling! Yes..the beginning first few weeks were a struggle. Some common side effects: nausea, headache, mild body aches, sulfur burps, bloating, constipation, and VERY decreased appetite so I had to constantly try to force myself to eat a proper meal. But after 3 weeks, my body finally got used to the meds and I was able to continue with my daily routine with the help of vitamins + fiber. I noticed the side effects became less and less as the weeks passed by. And I also noticed my appetite was the size of a child's stomach + definitely have less cravings! It's been 10 weeks so far on the injections, and I've currently lost -13 lbs. I'm so proud of my progress so far, and I can't wait to continue this journey for another 12 weeks! Time to get my summer body ready!

MY NEW FAVORITE CLINIC! I came from Fremont to this amazing clinic in San Jose, and it was so worth it! Nurse Kim gave me beautiful Russian-style lip fillers, exactly what I wanted. I absolutely LOVE my lips and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
