5 Star Medical Spa - SLO

I would caution people against going to this business. First of all, I had great success with injections with my provider in Washington state. When I moved here and started working with Dr. Donah, The results were not as good. However, she seemed confident that we could get back to where I was and so I came back to next time, and she tried injecting in different places and said that she used more and yet the results were the same and nothing like what I was getting in Washington. I went back a third time shortly after the second time because she said we should do more, and according to her, this would take care of the problem. Again, almost no difference. At this point, I was paying well over what I was paying at my previous provider and also she was injecting well over the amount of Botox that I have ever received in my life. So I don’t know what that was all about… Or if she’s using product that’s not as effective… I am really not sure. But the last straw for me was, I didn’t make a fourth appointment to try and work this out and figure out what’s going on And she didn’t have availability in my usual place so they scheduled me at a different location. On the day that it was time for my appointment I accidentally forgot that I was going to a new location and showed up on time at my usual location. I realized my mistake when they said they didn’t have an appointment for me and then they told me to call back and reschedule. When I tried to do that, they told me that I had to pay a no show fee. I explained again that I wasn’t a no-show. I was just a person that made an honest mistake and went to the wrong location and I think that’s really harsh to do that to an existing customer. Then they write a rebuttal and say that they didn’t charge me the fee and we’re just reminding me of a policy, but that is a lie, they did actually ask me to submit a self payment for the fee and then the manager wrote me and said that, despite the fact that he was informed, I was unhappy that he wishes the best and that I should move on. So that rebuttal below is a bunch of hot air

I highly recommend 5 Star Medical for laser hair removal, especially Amanda. She's incredibly fast and thorough, making the process as efficient as possible. Despite the inherently intimate nature of the appointments, Amanda's friendly demeanor puts you completely at ease. The results have been fantastic. If you're looking for laser hair removal, Amanda is the one to see.

Dr. Donah was amazing! She recommended/noticed things that other injectors had never offered before. She paid so much attention to detail and was very concerned about my comfort and pain tolerance. Her personality is the absolute best, the office is very clean, and most of all I am VERY happy with my results. Thank you!

Amanda is so awesome for laser hair removal. She is quick, thorough, experienced, makes you feel comfortable, and is an amazing nurse. So thankful that five star medical is here in slo! Highly recommend- they know what they are doing :)
