I can't say enough great things about Dermatology Specialists! After wasting three years and $3000 at Laser All, where i endured 22 "unlimited" tattoo removal sessions with little to no results, I finally made the switch. Best decision ever! DS were honest, professional, and incredibly skilled. They managed to completely remove my tattoo in just three treatments. Yes, three! It was like night and day compared to my frustrating experience at Laser All. Not only did they save me time, but the results speak for themselves. If you're looking for real results and a team that knows what they're doing, don't waste your time anywhere else- go to Dermatology Specialists! Thank you Dr. Allen!

Dr. Shawn Allen and Sierra Falcocchio-Karnavas were very professional and caring in the medical treatment of my skin condition. Although it took multiple treatments, they remained patient and focused to completely resolve my skin issues, restoring my natural appearance when several doctors advised me it may be very difficult to remediate. I am very grateful for their positive and calm approach as well as their very effective custom treatment for me. I highly recommend Dr. Allen & Sierra Falcocchio-Karnavas with Dermatology Specialists in the Boulder location.

Predatory business practices. Beware!!! Was told i was in network and booked for two very close appointments, prior to being billed. Was told by dr. Getty the spots i was concerned with were nothing, then were suddenly cancerous. Procedures to remove, pathology, and diagnoses all suddenly cropped up before my insurance was discovered “out of network”. At a third appointment i was booked, it was finally disclosed my balance was over $950 and i was liable for all of it. Instead of working out a payment plan, they sent me to debt collections, charged interest, and served me with a mandatory court appearance, with a balance well over $1150, to finally end the nightmare with them. This happens frequently within this practice, as per the other reviews online. Couple that with questionable dermatology, i would stay far away from this cash grab office. And i make sure everyone knows that and who NOT to go to. “Dermatology Specialists”

Dr. Shawn Allen did a wonderful job with the MOHS procedure for basal cell carcinoma removal. He was very knowledgeable, professional, & encouraging. He was assisted by Hannah, who was also awesome. I'm so grateful for knowledgeable professionals like these! Thank you, Donna D.

I went in to see Dr. Allen on May 17th 2024 and he did not do anything, in fact I only saw him for a total of 8 seconds and asked him to remove a cyst on my back. Dr. Allen stated he did not have time today and make another appointment with him. I could not get in to see him for over 2 months. Meanwhile my cyst ruptured not even a week later and I had to have another dermatologist drain it. Then I ended up going back a month later and the surgeon had to remove over 35 pieces of the cyst and she tells me the cyst Should’ve been taken out before it ruptured. Now I am getting a bill from Dr. Allen for $25.41 and he did nothing on May 17th to help me. I talked to the billing person Michelle and she reached out to Dr. Allen to have the remaining amount waived and he said no. WHAT!!! I need the amount waived because you did nothing to help me. You just made everything worse and You being the owner of this business, you should do the right thing. Waive The amount.
