Kyle Cox MD - Oculofacial Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics

I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Cox and her practice. From beginning to end she was incredibly thoughtful and caring. She spent a lot of time with me in the initial consult, listening carefully to what I wanted, explaining the entire procedure in detail, and answering all my questions. I didn’t feel rushed AT ALL (important when you’re considering such a big procedure) and she didn’t try to “upsell” me on anything. I would say she’s a minimalist in that she suggests you do only what needs to be done to get the effects you want. No more no less. I really appreciated that kind of honesty from a surgeon. She takes what I would call a woman-centric approach to her work, listening very carefully to what you say you’re going for and not being too aggressive (as I think some male plastic surgeons can be). The procedure itself went smoothly, as did the healing; and I love the results! My eyes look exactly as she said they would! Her staff was equally caring and professional throughout. I would say if you’re considering any kind of eye procedure, go straight to Dr. Cox without thinking twice!!! (She’s also just a lovely human being.)

Dr. Cox and her fabulous team are beyond amazing! Every single step in my ptosis repair and upper blephrolasty has been smooth and wonderful! Dr. Cox is clearly passionate about the science and art behind her craft. She is attentive and meticulous to detail. She was so patient and welcomed my million questions. She is really big on patient education and empowerment. She was honest, thorough in her assessment and took the time to explain her approach. My needs and goals were always prioritized and I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. But after sitting down with Dr. Cox, seeing her outstanding previous work, and understanding my tailored plan, there was no doubt in my mind that I was in incredibly capable and talented hands. The procedure itself was such a breeze. I was way more nervous than I needed to be, but Dr. Cox was comforting and explained each step as she was doing it. There was minimal to no pain during or after the procedure. Dr. Cox has been so sweet to follow up with me the day after as well as later in the week. I’m healing well, feel physically better since my eyelid muscles are no longer straining, and I’m delighted with the results thus far! I’m looking forward to the end results when I’m all healed up! What Dr. Cox has done for me is INVALUABLE. I have SO MUCH MORE confidence. I feel more comfortable engaging in intimate eye contact and enjoying deep conversations and being PRESENT because I no longer worry if my lopsided eyelids are distracting. This procedure has been life changing and totally worth it! If you are looking for a skilled, brilliant thorough and patient-centered surgeon, Dr. Cox is it!

Dr.Cox is an incredibly talented artist and surgeon. Her knowledge and bedside manner are also beyond compare. She is 100% attentive to all of my needs and takes the time to answer all of my questions. She is warm and personable which is extremely rare these days. I could not have asked for a better surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Cox and her team.

My optometrist thought my droopy eyelids might qualify as a medical (rather than cosmetic) issue, with insurance coverage. She referred me to Dr. Cox, whose office contacted me. Setting up the initial consultation was a breeze. Dr. Cox did a great job of explaining the procedure, with photographs to show what would occur. Dr. Cox also explained the preparation for the surgery and the recovery from it. I left the consultation confident I knew everything I needed to know going forward. Also, and importantly, Dr. Cox's office handled the insurance. If all goes according to plan, in early 2025 I'll post a post-procedure update. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience thus far with Dr. Cox and her office.
