Ideal Dermatology - Boulder

I had Moh’s surgery three weeks ago - needed to have a couple of spots on my face worked on by Dr Mott and can say unequivocally he is highly skilled at what he does and I would not hesitate going back to him in the future! He, his assistant (Maya?) and his team at the front desk were all very friendly, knowledgeable, kind and caring - I felt like I was in very good hands throughout the process! My wife also went to Dr Mott about a year ago for the same procedure and came away from the experience very impressed as well and was also very happy with the results once she healed up! Having such great health care is one of the main reasons we continue to call the Boulder area home and are very thankful for the access we have to quality doctors like Dr Mott!

I saw Brooke at Ideal Dermatology. She was efficient and answered all my questions quickly but also thoroughly. A scalp issue I've been dealing for about a year right now wasn't what I thought it was and CAN be managed with a specific product. So that was lovely to hear because anyone else I've spoken with has told me that it's just a part of my body ecosystem and I need to just deal with this being my scalp now. Now I know I have an affordable option to fix it because Brooke figured out what it was within 5 mins of checking my whole scalp. I also have a family history of skin cancer and in previous years had to have several spots fully removed from my body too. So she did a full body check for me too and did that efficiently so I didn't have to hang out in a hospital gown for too long. Overall a great experience!! I will say, they were running roughly 30-40 mins behind so the wait time took longer than expected and I'm sure it's not ALWAYS that way but something to be aware of. I missed another apt because of the wait time and got hit with a no show fee from my PT place. Like with any business though, if one person is late it creates an entire cascade effect that makes EVERYTHING else late. So if you're one of those people who shows up late to apts, you need to start thinking about how your actions impact that person's entire day.

Ideal Dermatology is a great place. I go for exams and gratefully got a precancerous lesion frozen off my nose! The derm exam was thorough, an my provider admired my knee replacement scar! It is pretty!

Brooke and entire team is great to work with. They are thorough but to the point. My questions are answered and they are very conscientious in there work. I trust them to do what's needed. Clay Robinson
