I had a revision rhinoplasty and genioplasty with Dr. Imola, and I highly recommend him. As a person of color, it’s difficult to find a skilled plastic surgeon who understands diverse facial features, but Dr. Imola exceeded my expectations. He did an incredible job and I love both my nose and chin. The change is noticeable, but it’s still natural and not overdone. Dr. Imola is also very personable, and his staff is friendly and welcoming. I can’t recommend him enough!

Dr. Mario Imola does not follow patient’s written directions and performs subpar work. I wish I had known at the time that I had surgery that Dr. Imola had a previous surgical malpractice claim against him and that the State of Colorado had reprimanded him for performing the wrong procedure on a patient. I had rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Imola, and we discussed using cadaveric materials for the procedure, specifically cartilage which was all he said would be needed. I woke up to pain behind my right ear to discover he had made a large incision behind my ear and harvested fascia from the side of my head. Something I had not agreed to. In fact, on the consent form I had explicitly said I did not authorize Dr. Imola to use any materials from other parts of my body. When I complained of constant pain behind my ear to Dr. Imola and he said it would go away with time. It has been over 5 years, and I spent more than $10,000 repairing the subpar work he did on my nose which left me unable to breath well and left me with a bulbous and crooked nose. I continue to this day to take pain medications and deal with the nerve damage caused by him removing fascia from the side of my head. He also left me with a sizable scar behind my ear. Other surgeons were baffled as to why he would make a horizontal incision behind my ear and not one that followed the crease in my ear. Dr. Imola also claimed to have not removed cartilage from my ear, but another surgeon confirmed that he in fact did remove cartilage. Dr. Imola has a pattern of not listening to patients and clearly not reading notes and records before performing procedures. I would also like to highlight that when you search for Dr. Imola on Google there is a sponsored first result which contains fake 5-star ratings from 500 people (see attached image.) This is really a deceiving form of marketing that reflects poorly on Dr. Imola and his ethic.

I’m so happy we found Dr. Imola! He came to the rescue after my daughter went to “Dr. L” in Greenwood Village for her first rhinoplasty, which was a complete disaster. “Dr. L” didn’t make the changes he agreed to do and he severely obstructed her breathing. A nightmare. Dr. Imola made all of the aesthetic changes and he fixed her breathing……AMAZING!! I wish we had met Dr. Imola prior to the first surgery, but thankful he did the revision. My daughter is thrilled with her nose. His experience, skill, and eye for detail is what you want in a facial plastic surgeon. He’s a perfectionist. Also, his staff director Lisa helped us through the process and she was wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Imola!

I came to Dr. Imola after having two septoplasty surgeries both of which ended up causing scar tissue and issues with my breathing. Dr.Imola performed a revision rhinoplasty and gave me a beautiful and fully functioning nose. All the staff here is amazing and I felt very comfortable from the first moment I called and scheduled a consultation. Lisa is fantastic and will hold your hand through the whole process as well! I am a 40 year old female who suffered from a horrible snowmobile accident in 2014 that resulted in significant facial trauma. The accident injuries required a 7 year reconstructive treatment plan that Dr. Imola played a primary role in orchestrating and beautifully executing. What he likes to call, “The art of the surgery” and what he’s done for my life truly has been an art. I wish I could write about all the steps and details of every surgery and appointment large and small. To express how grateful I am that our path led us directly to Dr. Imola - there will never be enough review space. Let me conclude by sharing the ultimate compliment. Ten years out, when I meet new people in life and they learn of the accident and major injuries - they look at me with complete astonishment and every time I get the compliments "Wow, I never would have know", "Seriously I don't even see where any work could have been done" and the best part is to be able to smile back with confidence and say "Yes - I was lucky to have found such an incredible doctor". To feel confident and beautiful in my own skin is worth celebrating 10 years. Each time I meet someone new and they eventually learn about my accident - the best complement is "I would never have guessed - or - Are you serious I can't even see a scar...Wow - who were your doctors"!
