Dr. Laggis has provided me (and my family) with excellent dermatological care for the past several years. Having had too many negative experiences with medical professionals in the past, Dr. Laggis is a true breath of fresh air and she puts me at ease immediately. She genuinely listens to me, doesn’t rush through our appointment, provides me with effective (and reasonably priced options) for my skincare concerns and is knowledgeable in her field of expertise. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Laggis and am grateful to have her as a trusted dermatologist.
I recently learned that Macy, who used to assist me during my visits to the office, is no longer with the team. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the exceptional care she provided. From making me feel at ease and bringing laughter to painlessly removing my sutures, Macy's professionalism and warmth made every procedure comfortable. Having been a long-time patient at MWD, I've never felt more at ease during medical appointments. It's disheartening to know she won't be there for my next appointment, but I wanted to commend her outstanding service.
My doctor sent 3 referrals that they "didn't get" or they "lost" This place seems like such a joke anyways. Just read some of the negative reviews and this is apparently a VERY common occurrence. This place is a perfect example of a medical office who only cares about the $$$ Instead of actually helping people.
I am 20 years old and just recently started dealing with acne that I had never had before. I waited about two months to get in and had the worst appointment. I was crying and felt so unheard by the derm. I ended up not getting any prescriptions because I felt too overwhelmed and upset with the situation and was still charged $400 for the appointment. Was told that me, asking for her to treat me with sensitivity and kindness was offending her. Trying five different topical treatments may not be a big deal to her, but to the person walking around every day with that on their face it is a big deal! The end of the appointment was better, but she immediately recommended that we may need to do Accutane for acne that she told me was superficial. Super disappointed.
I saw dr Paul last week and had a wonderful experience! I have had some not so great medical experiences in the past, so anything medical makes me very anxious. The front desk was very kind and patient with me, and once it was time for my procedure, dr Paul and her assistant instantly calmed me and made me feel safe and cared for! Highly recommend!
