I discovered Summit Wellness Group after struggling with hormone and weight changes from menopause. Dr. Julie and Hopi reviewed my lab results and worked with me to find a personalized path of care. I’m so glad I decided to start my weight loss journey. Menopause has been rough. With so many choices out there from online med delivery companies to in person med spas, I felt that I wanted to have a more personable experience . Summit wellness group did just that. The first four weeks were monitored, an opportunity to ask questions and get advise. The injections were done in office. I was so scared of shots. I mean, really scared of shots. When I tell you that I didn’t feel the injection…nothing. My first impression was that a mosquito bite hurts more than this. On my last visit, I was asked if I was ready to do home injections. Once again, a little fear came over me and apprehension. Quickly it dissolved. I was patiently and expertly instructed. It’s No big deal at all. The support never ends, I was sent home with all the supplies I needed, If I wasn’t ready, I could always come back into the office. The support and check-in calls are now once a month via video conference or in person. My last thought to you is if you start now, summer will look a whole lot different and you will feel empowered.
