To Whom This May Concern, I am a Veteran and was transferred here from the V.A. These doctors continued to ignore my cries in regards to pain. My pain level is pretty high I would say, I am a rough and tough boy mom of 3 and I'm not one to complain unless I'm dying, hence why I was admitted. They continued to make me wait to speak to the Dr and told me that since I was pregnant I may not be used to the pain. I described to them the pain and I was drugged up and sent home, even after telling the young lady who saw me that I didn't want anything that would make me drowsy. I was so drowsy, I could barely keep my eyes open, the pain subsided, but I was lethargic and off for like 2 days. Hated it, my schedule is 5:30 a.m sharp everyday so yeah. Come to find out I had complications due to an ectopic pregnancy. The Dr's were cold and could care less. I'll never come here again if I had achouce. And this was my first visit. Crazy, i treating Vets this way, God knows how you treat civilians.
My husband and I have been coming to UCONN HEALTH for over 20 years. Any specialty service and surgeries has been exemplary service and top notch medical care! The doctors and surgeons and all staff have been over the top best care I can ask for.. I am writing this right now from recovery after my husbands lung procedure. Cannot ask for better care! Thank You!!!
I brought my husband to an emergency room at Bristol Hospital on Dec 8 at night with an excruciating tooth pain. They did the basic paperwork and send him back to the waiting room to wait. He’s blood pressure was to the roof, a patient with heart attack history.( and this without mentioning the carelessness and harsh treatment we got from the guard at the time, screaming at us to hurry up and move the car because on my nerves at the time of emergency, I park on the wrong spot) We decided to go to UCONN HOSPITAL Emergency Room, we could not make a better decision. They took my husband immediately, in a room, and right away started to work on him to make him feel better. Dr Nieves, Nurse Hannah( please forgive me if spell wrong) and the rest of the staff was OUR 🌟 SHINING STARS ⭐️ of the night, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU
I would like to thank Dr Corey Dwyer and all staff who helped him to take care me during my surgery. Everyone was so nice starting with the receptionist, nurses, anesthesiologist. Wish everyone all the best and thank you again.
It’s clean and nice looking but the staff here are so cold and uncaring. My mother was crying in pain in the waiting room and there over here drinking lattes. The dr kept interrupting her as she was struggling to speak already. When the nurse put a blanket on her she only put on half. And no one seems to understand priorities. It does get the job done however
