This was my first visit. I was checked in by a rude woman with red hair. She brought me to the exam room and asked if I wanted a gown. I said I’d probably need one considering I was having a full body check. She replied with, I don’t know what you’re here for, left and returned with a gown. I asked what I needed to remove, she said, whatever you want her to look at. Maybe she’s having a bad day, but I have never been treated this poorly, especially for a new patient appt. The person that did the exam was very kind and took her time.

I've been seeing Dr Daman for about 30 years, mostly for skin tag removal. I've read the few negative reviews and I understand the potential concern however, I'm the patient who disagrees with them. The receptionist has been an absolute peach and always showed a great personality. There are plenty of crabby ones out there but not at this office. When the skin tags are removed on me, there is no MA present and I DON'T want one in the room. If you're uncomfortable with a doctor looking you over then say NO! At the same time, looking at your body might just save your life! If/When the doctor finds a potential or actual skin cancer issue, I'll bet your negative perspective suddenly changes. I had a surgical procedure last year and his MA was in the room. I did not need to ask. You get an MA when they are needed. Thank God he looked me over head to toe or he would not have seen the issue! I'm currently being treated for a foot fungus. He checked my hands too! Who said a fungus only seeks one spot on your body? I wonder what the next complainer will say when the Doctor does not check the feet and the fungus was not only in the hands but showing evidence on the foot yet left undetected. He's a dermatologist folks. He inspects for, and treats skin conditions. Deal with the reality of his trade. He needs to look you over. PHOTOS - If you have a mole on your back and it grows over the next year, (not good) consider that the pictures allow the Doctor to see the changes over time. Social media has trained many to complain about everything and it's sad. *Submitted by a client who dislikes complainers and not someone who has any relationship with the office or staff members in any possible way, shape or form.

Although I am just now writing a review for the appointment I had a few years back, I was reminded of this encounter when I was searching for a new dermatologist and this place showed up again. I was recommended to come here by my mother who said my family member went here and had a good experience(a male I should add). I went for my right thumb that has some sort of fungal infection I wanted some ointment for. The dr checked my thumb out and took pictures of it with his digital camera and even though the appointment was just for my thumb he started snapping photos of my other body areas with moles on it and then asked me if my toes had a fungal infection on it and i told him no that only my finger nail had it and he still wanted to see my feet. I told him they have nail polish on them anyway yet he snapped away at my painted toes. It was uncomfortable and I see other women who went here and had similar uncomfortable experiences so I wanted to share mine in hopes of no one else having to go through uncomfortable experience with someone you should trust. There was no MA in the room either.

Dr. Daman is a fantastic dermatologist. While he may not come across warm & fuzzy to many, I can tell you he’s extremely diligent when it comes to treating & diagnosing his patients. Especially when it comes to you being at risk of skin cancer, having MRSA or some type of active infection. So while you might be waiting for thirty to ninety minutes, realize there’s somebody sitting in an exam room that needs his time and attention. I say this from personal experience. I was referred to him by a young woman / mother of four who had MRSA. He even came in on off hours many times to treat and observe her infection. It was life threatening. He has quickly diagnosed my dad having melanomas 2x and gotten them treated very quickly 🙏🏼🙏🏼. My husband, son & sister are all under his care. He’s VERY ethical and a teddy bear once you get to know him. I’ve waited in his office for an hour on several occasions and would do so again. I dread the day he retires.
