Great Surgeon I had surgery approximately a month ago. I found the staff very helpful, caring and professional. They where able to answer all my questions and took care of anything I needed ASAP.Dr. Martin is a very involved and compassionate surgeon. He explains everything that will happen, he spends a lot of time going over all the aspects of the surgery and recovery process.Dr. Martins surgical abilities are exceptional. He is an excellent and gifted and surgeon. As a very Type A person, I would recommend Dr. Martin!!
I can say I had a great experience with Dr Martin he is passionate about his work; people person; compassionate and was available for all my needs after surgery.Thank you Dr Martin and staff.
I recently had a wonderful experience with Dr. Martin and his staff. I had two blemishes surgically removed with Dr. Martin and he did an excellent job. The procedure was painless and went very smoothly. I was so impressed when Dr. Martin called me the next day - a Saturday! - to make sure I was doing okay even though the procedure was quite minor. Dr. Martin is very kind, conscientious and thorough. I would highly recommend this practice.
The staff here is very friendly and warming. Dr. Martin was fast and efficient. He was very to the point and not time wasting which I appreciate. At the same time kind and willing to answer any question you may have. I had a nose mole removal, to early to update on after appearance but so far so good. Thank you
STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!! I had a very poor experience — 1600 grafts FUT in April 2021. Even from the start following the procedure, i noticed that the hairline design was unusual and too low, and the worst part: the grafts were spaced extremely far apart. After a year of anxiously waiting for the growth that Cary said would eventually (but never) come, I decided to speak to various doctors. A year later, I met with a world renowned hair transplant surgeon in NYC (Dr. Carlos Wesley) and we used a magnifying glass to look at the density, which was 1/3 the density of my normal hair. I moved forward with this surgeon and can already notice the significant improvement in bedside manner, care, and quality. My new doctor also corrected the mistakes in angulation and coarse, too lowly placed grafts that were done by CHTC/CHTG, and helped me design a natural, feminine hairline. TDLR: don’t go for the ‘affordable’ and ‘cheap’ choice as it will cost more in the long run. I advise you all to invest in a financing plan with CareCredit, and please find a doctor that is certified with hair transplant boards, such as the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). Don’t have Cary — who I will admit is much of a sweet talker — do all of the after-care and consultation. The consultation should be done by a doctor. And the care should be done by nurses. Dr. Martin is a whole other issue — when I presented my problems with the transplant, he told me that it was ‘good enough,’ and basically told me to stop being so nit-picky — which is frankly, unacceptable client and patient care. As a 20 y/o female, I don’t need a middle aged doctor telling me what looks good and what doesn’t look good, when I clearly had a disastrous result as was confirmed by those close to me, as well as other doctors. Needless to say, be willing to wait months to speak to a reputable doctor as that goes to show their trust within the community. I highly regret proceeding with this procedure, as it caused me not only mental and physical distress — with a lump that continuously caused me pain on the donor area but Dr. Martin barely acknowledged — but financial troubles as well. My repair surgeon helped me feel at ease, and remove this lump. I acknowledge that part of the fault is mine, as I had not done enough research, so I highly emphasize that those reading this do not make the same mistake. The loss of money is already painful enough, but I guarantee you that the emotional distress is 100x worse. Please save yourself the distress and find a much better doctor, one that specializes in hair transplants and not Dr. Martin or the CHTG/CHTC.
