The Dermatology Specialists-North Wilmington

Paris was very personable. She listened to my concerns regarding my psoriasis and medication for my other autoimmune disorders. The only problem I have is having to give my credit card information for automatic payments for charges above and beyond copay. I prefer paying when I am in office and this may warrant a change of dermatologists for me. The high rating was for Paris but I would have to give billing practice a 1.

This office has changed for the worse since my last visit. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour. Another patient had left exasperated and stated he was waiting in the inside patient area for more than 45 minutes. My son was asked to leave a credit card in case the insurance did not cover his annual exam. Who does that? An office that has gone downhill. The exam was good, but I feel overall the quality of service has deteriorated since my last visit. Would not recommend. In fact, suggested to a friend that he cancel his appointment.

This was a unique experience. The dermatologist that I was scheduled to see originally was never on site. Nor did I receive an explanation on why. But thats okay, the dermatologist that saw was very nice and answered all my questions. The receptionist does not come as a friendly or welcoming. There was a co-pay for the original visit (expected) and a co-pay for the follow-up (unexpected). I had to get clarity in which we did, but it felt very much like I did something wrong. It didn’t make my overall experience feel any better. My one suggestion is for there to be clear and timely communication across the board.

This was my first time meeting with Julia Fornatto, PA, at the Dermatology Specialists. I found her to be very personable, informative and professional. My follow up appointment has been made with her as well. All of the employees at this office are helpful and professional and the office is spotless.

I love the level of medical care. 5 stars for the medical care. My only criticism is that to keep THEIR records updated, you have to do all the work by filling in forms and taking pictures of your identification cards and insurance cards. It had only been a year since my last visit and the check in process all became my responsibility.
