Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery - Boca Raton

Please avoid this place. My first visit, I had an 8:30am appointment and waited outside the office for 30 minutes because they forgot to unlock the door. They finally opened up after I repeatedly called and finally reached someone on the corporate phone number. Spent approximately 3 minutes in my appointment and was billed $100, after insurance (total charge of $420). I made the mistake of going back for a second appointment a month later, as suggested. I had a 2 minute appointment - the PA did not even look at the affected area - and prescribed me a specialty cream. They could not tell me the cost or any details about the cream when I asked - I was told to reach directly out to the pharmacy and that I would have no copay for my advanced dermatology visit that day. I now have received a $318 bill in the mail and when I called to inquire about a breakdown of the charges, I just sat on hold until I gave up. Will not be returning for the third monthly appointment that they automatically scheduled me for after my second visit. The lack of attempt to provide transparency around pricing is unacceptable.

I had to walked out from my appointment today. I got in and told the receptionist that I have appointment and both of the receptionist were unable to check me in. There were no explanation of delays or ask me to wait because of certain reasons. Both of them just let me sat there and continued making their phone calls. Before I come in to the center, I called and see if I could bring my 2 boys because my sitter call out. They agree to let me bring them in while I see the dr. So disappointed. This place was referred to me from the people who work in that building and I am so disappointed with the service from the receptionists. I don’t know it’s because of my 2 children ( which I called to make sure if I could bring) or because of my race. All I could say is that I am disappointed

I just moved back down to Boca after 26 years and I was in need of a dermatologist as soon as I could get one for a new issue I had. I was able to get an appointment in one day and I was very pleased by my first visit. The office is very nice and everyone was very friendly. I was happy that Dr Schiff was able to perform a quick minor surgical procedure right away for me that solved my problem. I could not ask for anything more.

My wife had an appointment for our son. When she arrived, it took the receptionist 35 minutes to check her in. Once she was checked in, the receptionist told her that she was at the wrong office. The receptionist was rude and implied that it was my wife fault. Inspite of the fact that my wife showed her the comfirmation text that showed her to go to the Boca Raton address. My wife liked the doctor, but the staff's inability to send the text with the right information was clearly an indicator of a poorly ran business. They need a better officer manager there. The receptionist did not apologize for what was clearly their mistake. As good as the doctor might be, dealing with incopentent and rude staff memebers is reason enoug not to come back. We will not be returning.

The doctor gets 5 stars, office management and phone systems get no stars. Great difficulty to make an appointment and could not get through by phone to cancel another appointment. Too many texts for. The same thing.
