Mid Florida Dermatology & Plastic Surgery

My daughter had an appointment today for 3 warts on her hand. I was unable to be there so my mom had taken her. She said it was the worst experience ever. They cut one off and froze the other 2. The one they cut she said she got a shot and then they started to cut it.. my mom noticed a look on her face and asked if she could feel it. She said yes.. the employee then asked her if she could feel it as well and again my daughter said yes.. she said she told another lady to give her more nova cane but she did not. She didn’t need anymore, she just needed to wait for it to work so it would get numb. She still didn’t and instantly started working on her thumb. She was crying. She is 17. They should KNOW to wait and then to check with the patient as well when they start working. I’m so upset. I will be calling tomorrow personally. But this was unacceptable and now she has this horrible experience and refuses to go back ever she said no matter how many warts she has. I had a problem here many years ago and went to another dermatologist afterward. We will NEVER be back and will continue to share her negative experience anytime it comes up. I hate leaving a negative review but when we go to a specialist I expect to get someone that knows what they are doing and will take care of my family. Not a happy mom.

I don't ever leave reviews, but I had to for Dr. Torres. Dr Torres and her front office staff are amazing. So kind, genuine, and just simply amazing. They made me feel so welcome, and Dr. Torres, really listened to my concerns and wanted to find the root of the problem rather than just a quick solution. I would highly recommend her over and over again. SHE is the absolute BEST. I have never been to a doctors office with such kind, and inviting people.

Dr. Enid Burnett is the worst doctor I have ever encountered! She is very unprofessional and rude! She came in the room, never introduced herself, and ordered my 7 yr old daughter to turn around and show her the skin issue. She asked the dermatologist assistant, "How old is this child?". The dermatologist assistant said, "7 years old." Dr. Burnett rudely replied, "Why was she referred to me? . I don't like seeing kids under 10 because they wine and cry too much!" She then proceeded to examine my daughter and when Dr. Burnett suggested a treatment, my daughter asked, "Is it going to hurt?"... without pause, Dr. Burnett said, "yup it's going to hurt!". My daughter immediately jumped off the table, knelt down in a corner and began crying hysterically. This doctor traumatized my daughter and we will NEVER return to this doctor! The office staff, on the other hand were very friendly, caring, and they did thier best to calm my daughter down and make her feel better!

Michelle at Mid Florida Dermatology is amazing! She is very thorough, knowledgeable, and caring. I came in for a skin exam and really enjoyed my visit with her. She made me feel comfortable by explaining everything and making sure to answer all of my questions. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this office.

I am so happy that I chose to meet with Dr. Burnett, she was very sweet and informative. Made sure to explain what kind of acne I have and what the different prescriptions were for. This is the first time I have seen such a big change in my skin within 3 months of using what she prescribed.
