Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery - St. Johns

I just had a procedure today by Dr Christy Costello,,, She was so sweet and reassuring.. I was given the best care.. I highly recommend her!!!!

I DO NOT recommend this place! The dermatologist spent like 5min in the appointment and she didn't even check my chart. She sent all the prescriptions to a pharmacist outside my insurance and I paid hundreds of dollars and every single prescription that she sent gave me an allergy reaction.

Dr. Boshnick is outstanding for the dedication and quality of her work as a dermatologist. She diagnosed my condition quickly, prescribed medications, and applied dressing, i.e. medication and bandages, on two separate appointments. She gave me suggestions for zipper compression stockings, I gave her my feedback and she added more to that. The result was selection of a best fit zipper compression stocking. She also recommended that I purchase a dry cast to protect my leg wounds and bandages while showering. She waited patiently for me when I was delayed for an appointment due to the condition of my legs. She dedicated additional time as needed for bandaging my legs. She is truly outstanding for her dedication, quality of service as a doctor and her willingness to explain my condition thoroughly to me. Kudos to her!!! I recommend her whole heartedly to anyone who needs to see a dermatologist. Condition: Chronic venous stasis with ulcer.

I chose this location because it was closer to home. They charged me over $200 for a general dermatology appointment. Literally just to get a prescription wrote. I’ve never paid more than $100 for a dermatologist appointment. I thought that was ridiculous. I wasn’t even consulted for 4 minutes and she was all over the place with my treatment recommendations. Why would you ask me what prescriptions I want when you’re the doctor? I don’t trust the treatment she recommended because I’m not unfamiliar with the dermatologist and idk why she would prescribe me two antibiotics gels at once. I won’t go back…just stick to the offices that I trust and actually take the time to exam my face and properly address the issues. I recommend going to First Coast Mohs dermatology or Southside Dermatology on the beach. 1/2 the price and actually do what is expected.
