Dermatology Center of the Palm Beaches

This is an unusual review, but I need to share my experience with this office. I had this misfortune to deliver a large Uber Eats order to this office that contained $400 worth of food. The order was placed by a pharmaceutical rep named Petra (no last name) and delivered to this medical practice. After picking up the order, delivering, and making sure everything was accounted for, I was out an hour of my time. For this, i was paid a grand total of $8. Why does this post relate to this business? The answer is simple, they allowed this to happen. It's commonplace for pharmaceutical reps to buy lunch for medical offices. But it's uncommon for a medical office to allow the pharmaceutical rep to sully their reputation with a weak tip. Rather, most businesses advise their outside relationships to make sure they properly compensate those working on their behalf so as not to negatively impact their brand. That was not the case here. Most people want their physicians and their staff to uphold the highest ethical standards. By allowing a pharmaceutical rep to crap on their brand, this office has now indicated how they intend to deal with any issues you might have with their treatment, follow-up care, billing, insurance, etc. I strongly advise anyone reading this review to find another dermatologist. Maybe this facility will learn their lesson when it comes to protecting their reputation, but until that time, I would stay away.

PA-C Feltis and her (assistant? nurse?) were both incredibly patient and professional and kind. Everything was done with an extreme level of care regarding hygiene. I did not feel like I was being rushed out the door in any way. All of my concerns were addressed, and I was able to go home and go to sleep peacefully without any concerns unnecessarily taking up space in my mind. I cannot possibly stress how important that is! Everybody has stories of going to a doctor and the doctor not caring or being in a rush or something and so forth, it's a story older than time itself. But I just wanted to say that everybody in this building seem to just be really nice people, and I feel like they really do care. Thank you so much I really appreciate it.

I was there a long time ago, around 2022, and I thought they were going to be able to help me with what I was going through. At that moment, I was happy because I thought they were going to help me, and I showed them what I had. What they did was inject me and tell me that would be enough. I thought they could solve the problem, but in the end, it never healed. They charged me around $151 and, on top of that, gave me some medication. In total, I spent almost $200. Please don’t waste your money. It’s very difficult to find someone who can really help you.

My first time at this office. Very easy to get an appointment. I barely waited 5 minutes to be seen. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Great office, glad to have them in my network!

No one in this office seems happy. Maybe the 1 person who brought me back to my room. Dolores, the receptionist that pushed me off for 8 weeks bc she was having a bad day or just generally has a bad disposition, was awful to deal with to set up a new patient appointment. I can say this having worked in the medical field for about 2 decades. I knew I should have cancelled my appointment from that experience alone but decided to keep it based on a coworkers' referral. I filled out all 30 minutes worth of new patient paperwork AND brought copies of my license & insurance cards for them, so I know how these things work & make their jobs easy for them. I showed up at 5 as they requested for a 5:30 appointment. Got called back at 5:23. Dr. came in at 5:51 out by 5:55. The doctor did not wash her hands before or after inspecting me like a piece of meat & leaving the gloves she removed on the counter before going in to the next room. Barely any of my spots were addressed, nor were pictures taken, as their paperwork states. Just like they tell you to come in alone wearing a mask. Not a single person in the waiting room seemed to follow the appointment reminder recording. Good thing I took my own baseline pictures while I waited in the room. I was prescribed a bleaching cream for one spot on my cheek & told to come back in 3 months, but I'll be canceling that appointment soon. When I reached the check out, they didn't have my chart and I pretty much had to tell them about the product sold in office that I needed and the follow up appointment. Communication is clearly an issue in this office. Also, other patient's demographics & information are clearly visible on computer screens - very concerning and a HIPAA violation. Anyways, I should have gone with my gut but I decided not to jump the gun. $150 of regret later, I was right.
