I recently visited an open house event with island family health. It was Pico and Prosecco. In this event I learned about several cosmetic produces that can help with wrinkle reduction and sunspots. They have lots of options available. They also have a nice skin care line to help with your daily needs. Rania was extremely helpful at letting me know what was available that they offer. Dr Kanellopoulos was so helpful in answering all of my questions and helping me pick the procedure that best fit my needs. While there I had a procedure done that Nadia his aesthetician performed on me. She is super helpful and knowledgeable in skin care. After signing up for the Picosure I was able to contact Karson and easily set up my appts without hassle. When I came in the day of my procedure I filled out my paperwork and was able to get started right away. Rania was super helpful in explaining another procedure I was having and super helpful with expectations. Once I began the pico procedure Dr K set me up with an expectation of what I should expect from this laser. He has an amazing beside manner and very caring towards his patients. After the procedure they gave a detailed summary of what to expect and my responsibilities afterwards. Nadia came in and put the after gel stuff on me and gave me an awesome facial massage. I’m grateful for the experience that I received with this office and looking forward to figure visits!

Today I had the best experience getting injectable’s from Dr Kanellopoulos. He was so gentle unlike my past experience with other Drs and he talks you through it with a soothing voice and made it a very comforting experience. Not to mention my lips look amazingly better than ever! I highly recommend him and his medical assistant, he’s just a doll! He was great, I loved him. I will definitely be getting my future injections and fillers with nobody other than Dr Kanellopoulos.

I’ve been a patient here for several years. My experience over the last 2 months has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Last month, I scheduled an annual check up appointment for today, October 18th. Last week on October 11th, I received an automated phone call, email, and text from the office explaining that Dr.Kanellopolous will “be exclusively signature MD concierge services”, that you have to sign up for his healthcare program to continue seeing him, and that any appointments have been cancelled. Why would they let me schedule an appointment knowing that it would be cancelled the following month? I immediately called the office and received no answer. The automated system said to leave a voicemail and they would return my call within 24 hours. After 4 days with no response, I called and left another voicemail. To this day, I still have not received a call back. I am currently left without a PCP, my health records, and no information.

Island Family Heath has a wide variety of treatment options for you inside and out. The staff is so caring and have always taken time to make sure all my needs are addressed. I have had great success with the aesthetics, Emsculpt and Emsella chair and Dr. K. They make their policies very clear and have great packages for face and body. If you are looking for an excellent Dr who listens to his patients and is very comprehensive you find him at Island Family health. This office can also make you look great and increase your strength with all the services they provide.
