The staff was nice, and the excisional biopsy I had was performed well without pain. I didn’t like there wasn’t complete transparency on the bill beforehand. They discussed their in-office fees with me but didn’t discuss the hidden fee I would receive from the pathology company they sent specimen collections. I didn’t appreciate that, and it made the overall costs between the two very expensive. I didn’t even know the name of the pathology company they used, so when I started receiving texts from them, I thought it was a scam text.

I went in for a new patient visit today. Dr. Monticciolo was nice and answered all my questions about cyst and mole removal. I was pretty nervous about the mole removal but Mary was amazing at talking me through it and helping me feel at ease. The procedure was painless and affordable. I’m going back in about a month for another procedure, and have even already scheduled a 6 month check up.

I went to this location for the 1st time ever today. Firstly the receptionist at the front desk was super friendly, creating welcoming vibes the minute I walked in. I got called back fairly quickly and my appointment was super quick, yet thorough! The specialist and staff were super nice and informative! I needed a procedure done this same day, I was so nervous but she did it so quickly I blinked and it was over! Painless! I will always return to this establishment! Thank you all for your kindness and effort to make me feel so incredibly warmed and welcomed! I will see you all again soon enough :)

Place is very clean and the staff is very nice, the wait to see the Dr. is very short. Dr. Allison Lowie is very kind knowledgeable and friendly. She takes good care of her patients. The Dr’s assistants are also very kind and explained everything to you if you get a procedure done at the office. I have been a pt there for about 4 yrs and I have always been treated very nice

I went to Prestige Dermatology for a regular skin check. I had a mole that they suggested to do a biopsy on which the entire process with the PA went very smoothly. My biopsy ended up coming back as precancerous which they suggested surgery with Dr.Natalie Monticciolo. At first everything went fine, they numbed up my leg, and then removed the entire area. Dr.Monticciolo sutured me up doing a running stitch. At first when I saw it I thought it was interesting because I never had that done before I always had individual stitches but I am not a doctor so I trusted her judgement. As the days went by everything was fine, but on day 5 after my shower I went to dry and cover the stitches and the single running stitch broke and the 3x3cm wound was exposed. All of the internal absorbing stitches and stitches on the outside tore. I tried calling their on call physician because this was now 7:30pm on a Friday, I left 2 voicemails without a phone call back all weekend. I went to an urgent care to hopefully get restitched but they will not considering it is an “old wound” and this needs to heal from the inside out. The PA at the urgent care was very surprised that the dermatologist would do a running stitch especially on the side of my thigh almost behind my knee. I returned Monday morning and Dr.Monticciolo made it seem as though it was my fault as to why they tore, that I “should have been more careful.” She said she could restitch me for more money but she wouldn’t do the inside stitches meaning my wound would not heal from the inside out which could cause potential issues on top of them most likely breaking again. I made the decision to not allow her to do anymore work on me. The RN Leann was absolutely amazing. She was very helpful and understanding. She helped pack my wound up and wrap it nicely. She has been the only positive encounter at this office. Dr.Monticciolo should learn more ways to stitch patients up besides a running stitch. Especially when you have patients of all sizes and stitches in areas of the body that will rub with daily activities. I am certain she performs this kind of stitch for the simple fact of it is quick and won’t take as much time as individual stitches. So on top of paying over $800 to get a “precancerous root out” I now have this beautiful crater in my leg that poses a risk for infection and it could have potentially been avoided if a different suture was performed. I will not return!
