The Fairy Skin Mother Aesthetics

I am finally getting the time to make this long overdue review…I have a long story lol. I had gotten off of the birth control pill that I had been on for close to 10 years. I had the most perfect skin on the pill, but wanted to stop for other health concerns. It took about 1 month for my skin to absolutely go insane. I have more knowledge than the average person regarding skincare, due to working in the beauty industry for over 10 years. I figured I can address the problem myself. Only for it to get worse and worse for a year following, I felt hopeless. I never wanted to leave the house, and go to work everyday. My face hurt, and was severely inflamed. The scarring I was left with from the damage was painful to look at. I was going to see a dermatologist, but I did not want to be handed more medications and sent on my way with no follow up. I don’t even want to include a before picture because it’s that bad. I decided to look into a specific skin care line, after hearing about acne boot camp. I was hesitant on the boot camp part, being that it may be very expensive. They show you skin experts in your area, and Katie was on that list. I made an appointment with her to talk about products, and she did not push me into boot camp at all, but after talking to her I felt I needed to commit to this if I wanted to feel better in my own skin. She worked with me as much as she could. Gave me the best recommendations for skin care, and I booked my first appointment for an acne facial. Fast forward to now, I have completed acne boot camp, and stuck with mostly everything she recommended and suggested! My face is way more clear now! Even my parents are like “I wish that was around when I was struggling with acne!”. I just had my first micro needling appointment to address the remaining scarring that I have. I will leave you with this, Katie is incredible…IN-CRED-IBLE. She is the sweetest/gentlest soul, and she listens and doesn’t judge! The investment is worth it, and I’m not saying this lightly. Just trust me. Coming from someone, who was deep in sorrow and struggle from this scary experience, do it. DO IT. Don’t waste any time! Katie, girl you are magical 🪄. So so so thankful for you! I can’t even put into words how amazing my experience has been! Wish I had done this from the beginning!!

OMG I LOVE HER WORK! acne used to be the topic i was embarrassed to talk about and now it is something i use to show how far i’ve come! within the past 5 months i’ve been coming here my skin has completely changed. as someone who is in high school confidence is everything and because of katie i was able to gain mine back! forever grateful for her and this process! the first two pictures are from only 4 months ago and the the third is from now! love love love it!

WOW! Words cannot describe how immensely grateful I am for Katie (Fairy Skin Mother). At my first appointment with her, I was a bit scared because I had already seen so many different people, and my skin was only worsening; I still remember the feeling of extreme pain all around my face because of my hormonal and cystic acne. My mental health and self-esteem were both plummeting because of how bad my skin was getting. Katie was the sweetest ever and asked me a bunch of questions and suggested a skincare routine and treatment plan. I began going to her and then, unfortunately, had to leave for college. I really started taking her recommendations seriously at the beginning of October, and I cannot thank her enough. She was always understanding of my situation and never made me feel bad for not doing everything perfectly. My skin is now doing amazing, and my acne is controlled, so we are now focusing on scarring. I would recommend Katie to ANYONE; she is truly the greatest person with the most joyful and calm soul! 10/10 recommend. After getting off hormonal birth control after almost 9 years on it, my skin broke out worse than it did when I started it. I found Katy on Instagram and had 2 friends recommend me to her after their successful acne journey. Almost 6 months into my acne boot camp, I am finally comfortable in my own skin again. She educates, thoroughly explains the process and expectations, and creates a comfortable environment. Trust the process with the Fairy Skin Mother and you’ll get to the point where your skin is flawless and only needs SPF.

I suddenly started breaking out after stopping birth control and couldn’t get it under control. I’ve been in and out of dermatologist offices in hopes something would work. All I was told was go on Accutane. I googled and found Katie and told myself this is my last thing I’m going to try before going on Accutane. Let me tell you that she is heaven sent to heal acne. After two weeks on just her recommended skincare routine all of my inflamed cystic acne was gone! Like completely gone. Almost halfway through her acne boot camp and I leave the house with just tinted spf on. Trust her and everything she tells you to do, her reviews speak for themselves. Her place is so welcoming and clean. And she is the easiest person to talk to. If you have any acne at all, book an acne consultation! Your self esteem and confidence will thank you later.
