Don't try to call them, they're phone hours are even worse than office hours. Appointment at the Jacksonville beach location was also not a pleasant experience, mainly due to the front desk personal. They incorrectly set me up with 2 different patient accounts, one paying out of pocket, the other with my insurance, took payment for my services through insurance and then still billing as not paid, associated to the incorrect account. I've tried to get in touch with them for weeks, but their phone hours are almost non-existent. They have been shut down for a entire week due to "weather." I am not sure how a business like this, can not have a people set up to answer phones remotely if not able to be in the office. DON'T USE THIS PRACTICE IF YOU WANT QUALITY SERVIVE FROM THE FRONT DESK OPPORATIONS.

The wait is a month out. From what the front desk says you have a 20 minute window from appointment! Once there, within TIME FRAME!!!! Unfortunately we have to reschedule your appointment!!!! Appointment at 11:10am, walk in at 11:23am. Front desk BLAMES ME FOR BEING LATE, so the doctor had to leave. So which one is it? 🤔 Was I late or did the doctor leave???? Building B. Just be real, it's a Friday and you all were ready to go and rather blame the client than do what's right! Sat in the parking and watched the entire building empty by 11:43 am.

I was being seen here by Dr. Michael Bernhardt. After five months of painful and ineffective treatment, I came in asking to explore other options. His assistant told me I could get a shot to get rid of the issue permanently, so I requested that. When he came into the room, he examined me and said there was no issue so I didn’t need treatment. I insisted that the issue was still there and pointed it out to him, however, he couldn’t see it even under the magnifying glass. He argued with me, like I don’t know my own body and can’t see what’s going on with my own eyes. So I circled the spot for him with a marker and after examining it closer he just said “okay, I’ll give you that one” , but he still denied there were other spots. It was really awkward, because there were three assistants in the room who could all see it with their bare eyes but were reluctant to say anything to him. He got increasingly frustrated and finally flat out refused to explore alternative treatment options with me and left the room. Five months of my time down the drain, five months of being in pain from the treatment I had to do at home, my issue was not resolved.. and they charged my insurance almost $300 each visit. Wild. He also dismissed a rash that’s been persistent for years as allergies without running any tests and told me to take allergy medication. Turned out to be a fungus infection that has now spread. Don’t go here if you care about your health. I asked to switch the doctor after the very first visit, but the front desk told me I had to be with the one they originally assigned, so they just wasted my time and money for five months with no resolution.

I have been going to Dermatology and Associates for over 10 years, but had the best experience today. I saw Kendall Wells and I highly recommend her. She was friendly, kind, and made me feel very comfortable. She listened to all of my concerns patiently and gave me the info I needed about my medication without my even having to ask. She was very detailed during my exam and took her time. If you want to see a provider who will listen to you and respect you, go see Kendall! Kendall’s assistant was also very kind and helped provide a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Thank you!
