Dr. Barnett is a great dermatologist! She not only help me clear up my skin, but she also help change my life by assisting me. Her diligence in finding me a surgeon was life changing for me! She was very thorough in my condition and her staff as well as herself are very pleasant. I highly recommend her!!

Dr. Barnett and her team are knowledgeable with exceptional bedside manner. One of my daughters suffered from eczema for years and it’s finally gone with their help! And, my other daughter’s facial acne has been cleared, helping her regain her self confidence. Not to mention, I’m completely happy with filler and more from Dr. Barnett! Highly recommended 🥳

I spent a great deal of time researching doctors to find a one-stop-shop for my general dermatology and laser/aesthetics needs. I read the incredibly positive online reviews, and I agree with all of them! I can't say enough about this office…it’s exactly what I was looking for. My consultation was thorough and not at all rushed. Dr. Barnett was incredibly patient answering my questions and offering advice/solutions (I've been leery of injectables seeing so many over-filled faces)! Then, I spent time with Lauren who is the warmest and most knowledgeable laser specialist I’ve met. Since that initial consult, I have had PRP scalp injections (that have worked but they don't feel good!), Cool Peel Laser treatments, injectables (baby steps), and general dermatology checks. I will only trust them from this point forward! I have taken my 19 year old daughter there as well to help with acne. Lauren has gone above and beyond to help her, including finding someone to continue her treatments in Knoxville. Carly, Dr. Barnett’s medical assistant, is also amazing! She too went above and beyond with my daughter to share her acne/gut health experiences and referred us to a great resource. If you want an office filled with a Dr. and staff who truly listen to your concerns and meet you where you are in the aging and aesthetics process, this office is for you.

I've had two great experiences at Atlanta Skin and Wellness. First, I visited for a skin cancer screening, and later I needed surgery to have a spot removed. Dr. Barnett and Mary Benton Guthrie (PA), along with the entire staff, were incredibly professional and compassionate throughout both visits. They made a potentially stressful situation much more manageable, and I felt completely cared for. I highly recommend them!

I had a highly disappointing experience at Atlanta Skin Wellness Center with their Ultra Chemical Peel (TCA). As a Black patient seeking treatment for hyperpigmentation, I trusted this clinic. However, the peel I received was not suited for my skin concerns—it was intended for aging and texture, not hyperpigmentation. The procedure was painful, with intense burning and swelling that lasted for days. The esthetician didn’t offer necessary relief, and when I called for follow-up, it was difficult to get a response. Dr. Barnett prescribed medication for post-inflammatory pigmentation, but my skin worsened, and the healing process was long and painful. A second opinion confirmed that TCA peels should be carefully managed on darker skin tones. After three months, my skin still hasn’t recovered. I’m now seeking a new dermatologist. I hope this clinic will re-educate staff on proper care for Black skin and better support their patients.
